I meet clients here often and there is always room to sit and prompt service. The coffee is excellent and they have a variety of other options to suit any palette. A picture of the menu is included in this post. The only thing I wish they had was more outlets and /or charging stations on the tables. There are a couple of spots where you can access an outlet, but I often end up having to move at least once to snag an outlet spot when somebody gets up and leaves. Overall it's a nice quiet place to meet or to get some work done. They also have a meeting room if you are in need of a larger quiet space

Let me explain, matters of circumstance could have been to blame. The one star was for them taking the time to make my coffee through the drive through. The judgment is for the coffee itself. Watered-down, and tasted like the 1 caramel syrup pump they squeezed into my cup. The coffee machine could have needed maintenance or the coffee was old. Either way, I would have probably been a bit more satisfied if I chucked it out my window, but I would rather not litter. (It was a caramel latte btw). Thanks for listening to me complain. 🙃

Twisted Bean is my absolute favorite coffee house in all of Des Moines! They have an amazing staff that will remember you and your favorite drink. Not to mention their food is freshly homemade when you order it. This place is my go to any day of the week!

It's an excellent place to spend some time working and enjoying a great coffee... I had to work in a presentation for about 2 hours and didn't want to get distracted at home, so I did it at the Twisted Bean Coffee (Merle Hay) and it was the perfect decision. Great coffee, relaxing environment and superb service! Totally worth it!

The coffee is amazing! But what bothers me is their is a lot of coffee grounds that gets in the coffee. I feel like they need to ground the coffee more. But other than that it's one of my go to coffee places.

Stopped by to satisfy my wife's afternoon fresh coffee hankerin' and my sweet tooth...MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! The orange cranberry scone and Jitterbug blended drink hit my spot like a gold medal Olympian archery champ! Great ambiance too!
