Always a positive experience!! Baristas are friendly and welcoming and coffee is always fresh. My favorites are the sandwiches! Fresh ingredients and family friendly staff :)

Just swinging through, needed to get on the internet and Dunn Brothers was on the route. Ended up talking with the owner for 20-30 minutes and was refreshing to have a conversation with someone that loves what he does! And, the coffee is fantastic. Owner knows how to roast!

100/10 would recommend. The owners are amazing to say the least. They care about their community and their customers. Will 100% support this business forever. 💜

Went for the 1st time yesterday. Got 3 items all different and that tasted the same. No flavor to taste what so ever just coffee. If I wanted just coffee that what I would've ordered. Not impressed

It's a nice place where they sell local art and see how they ground coffee over 100 years ago with the antique coffee grinder. Wonderful atmosphere for small talk or studying...

Best experience out of all the coffee places I been too. And not to mention the food is better too. The workers were all friendly and professional.

7/26/2019 UPDATE
We unfortunately stoped here this morning and somehow got a charge on our receipt for "Other" for $2. I called and spoke to the manager (Jordan) who was not interested in helping with a $2 overcharge. She said that she was too busy.
Previous Review:
This was my third visit to Dunn Brothers in North Liberty. It was my first time utilizing their drive-thru service. I was lucky enough to the ordering apparatus while there was no one in line in front of me because the line started behind me grew quite long. Unfortunately, that was the high point of my experience.
The nice lady asked me, through the speaker, if she could help me. I asked for a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. The then asked what kind of cheese I wanted, and she rambled off 3 types of cheese, none of which I wanted, so I settled for cheddar. She then asked if I wanted a "protein" which I found weird for a few reasons: I already said bacon when I said "bacon, egg and cheese biscuit" and, isn't egg a protein, oh and who calls it protein anyway? Calling it protein seems so ... clinical?
Anyway, I told her once again BACON. I pulled around to the window. I had my payment card out and ready, my window down. I've been through quite a few drive-thru windows in my life and typically they take the payment right away and let you know if there will be a wait. And in Iowa, in the Winter, like it was this morning around 20 degrees, I had my window down and I waited, and I waited, and I waited. I waited quite a long time before anyone took my payment. And it's not like they were busy. I could see there was no customers at the front counter.
After they took my payment, they returned my card on a clipboard with a pen attached to a string. I was surprised that I needed to sign for something under $10 but then I figured it out. There was a spot on the slip of paper for gratuity. I don't know about you, but I always cringe at leaving a tip before I know how the service and food was going to turn out. I also did not expect to be asked for a tip. It's a drive-thru window! McDonald's doesn't ask for one and I'm sure that their workers make less than the ones here. They could go middle of the road and do like Starbucks does and put a "tips" container outside their window, but to make folks sign a slip for a purchase under $10 just in the hopes that they get a tip is unwarranted. And to leave a tip for 15% of such a small purchase is crazy. I didn't even calculate it so I left $2. I'm sure that was a lot more than I should have left. Plus asking for a tip like this is a definite turn-off for future consideration for my business.
I returned the clipboard and nothing ... nothing was said. Not a thank you. What I was really after was how long this wait was going to be for my food. But I got nothing. I left a $2 tip, had no food and had no idea when it was going to arrive. And the line behind me kept growing. Like I said earlier, I was so lucky to get in line first, before all of these other people ... or was I? If I had arrived and there was a long line, then I might have saved myself by going elsewhere. But in hindsight, I digress.
I eventually got my little back and I headed on my way. Suddenly I started to get excited! I started thinking that because they asked for a tip that maybe this wasn't "fast food" and that I was in for a real treat when I get to savor and devour my bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. Sure, it was cheddar cheese on it, but I wasn't going to let that fact stop me from believing that I didn't waste my time by sitting in that drive-thru waiting 15-20 minutes for a biscuit that was sure to be a mouth-watering treat.
It took me less than 10 minutes to arrive at my destination and I gently laid the little brown back on my table, poured me a nice glass of orange juice and sat down to my treat. My expensive breakfast biscuit that I waited for. I open the bag and pull out the foil wrapped biscuit to discover that they had written, in black marker, on top of it "no protein."
