Homer's Deli And Sweetheart Bakery

SWEETHEART Bakery is awesome! Been around since before me, and I'm 69 years old! A STAPLE in the Lyons area of Clinton, Iowa. I go there on Saturdays at 8am when I'm visiting my hometown. BEST bakery around, and very sociable employees and customers. A highlight of my visit to Clinton!

Great sandwiches made fresh,and heated up . soups are good backers did my son's wedding cakes , his wife wanted cupcakes they were reasonable, they have wonderful frosting.

Visited Homer's for lunch today with my young adult kids! Nothing better than freshly cut meats, bakery fresh buns and desserts, delicious soups and friendly service. LOVE the hometown atmosphere!

Best bakery around hands down not even close

This is probably one of the nicest places to eat, or get a coffee and donuts. The bakery is top notch, coffee is good and reasonable priced, and the sandwich shop is good for lunch. We really enjoy this place.

A wonderful place to get bakery goods. We got a dozen assorted doughnuts, long johns, danishes, etc. and drinks. This place also has tables to eat there. Most towns don't have this type of Bakery anymore so we try to stop when we visit.

Great Pastries and their Cakes are BEAUTIFUL. Worth the money. Unfortunately, I found out today, they don't take checks. Will bring more cash next time. Wish they had a sign about this, almost wiped out all my cash.

I just ordered a cake to celebrate at Church Sunday, and I had to have a Sweetheart Bakery cake. They do a fantastic job decorating cakes. Even when you do not know where the cake was made, one bite and you know it is a Sweetheart Bakery cake--they are that good!

Some of the best donuts & pastries in town!! Friendly counter staff too!

Homer's Deli is awsome! The staff is super nice and food is great. They put the Corner Deli to shame the customer service at the Corner Deli is terrible I will never go back there after going to Homer's Deli.
