Been here twice for breakfast. Food and service excellent. Asked for extra crispy hashbrowns and got the best ever.
Various omellets to chose from and they are all huge. You will be asking for a take out box.

I am the world's authority on eggs benedict. I had their special float of eggs benedict and it's probably the tastiest eggs benedict I've ever had in my life. But there was a little something missing. So I'm going to go back two or three times to see if I can figure it out. As of this writing I have been back twice more the restaurant has changed. All for the better.

A small restaurant located on Boyson Rd in Hiawatha. Bloody Mary's could have been better but the breakfast shots & eggs Benedict were delicious 😋

Ordered the steak burrito to go and the sauces weren’t on the side. Burrito was laying on top of parchment paper which just got soggy and stuck to the burrito. No flavor.

I thought it was a decent place for breakfast. I had the breakfast quesadillas and I enjoyed them. My wife had the blueberry pancakes and said they were really good. My son had the ultimate omelet. He said it was too salty and he didn't like his hash browns. I thought the has browns tasted good, but we're not crispy at all. Based on the number of people there, I think this is a pretty good place to eat. Maybe my son's meal was just an exception.

We went to Cruz's shortly before 1pm (they close at 2pm) on a Sunday so that may have influenced our experience. The wait staff were efficient and friendly. The food was okay...I ordered the eggs which were good but the bacon was on the cool side but nicely crispy and the pancakes seemed to have been warmed up vs. being freshly made. The pancakes were kind of crunchy on the outer edges which made it harder to cut a piece off to eat. My daughter ordered an omelet and her coffee cake was very good.

My favorite breakfast spot in cedar rapids! Lunch menu is pretty great too! Absolutely amazing service and delicious food! They have alcoholic drinks available now and almost always have a daily special dish.

Arrive at 6.30 am- coffee, eggs bacon and fried tomatoes. I am from England and live in Cedar Rapids and am very used to the classic English breakfast. This cafe is the best place to eat breakfast in CR and the hospitality and service is exceptional. Finally, they serve great coffee that isn’t the usual bland bitter version. 10/10

The food was AMAZING. The waitress, Amy, was fantastic and so charismatic, and she brought us a variety of creamers for my picky nephew for our coffee and was so attentive to us the entire visit. I 100% recommend and will be going back there next time I'm in Cedar Rapids.

Great vegan options, hot coffee, attentive staff, reasonably priced.
