Just had a small wedding cake and cupcakes made for daughter's wedding. They were beautiful and delicious. Always knew their doughnuts were great! Thank you so much for the perfect wedding desserts!

My husband and I were just married in Mackinac Island. He grew up near Ames and had always loved the cake from Dutch Oven Bakery. We decided that we wanted our guests to share in the delicious cakes that they make, so Courtney worked very diligently with us to figure out how we could transport a two-tiered cake plus sheet cakes all the way to Mackinac Island. She decorated the cake exactly as we requested, and helped us plan the trip to make sure the cakes would make it safely. We transported the cakes in large cooler, and they were beautiful and delicious for the wedding!! I am not usually a fan of frosting, but on these cakes it is exceptional! And the cake itself is of course delicious! All of our guests commented on how great the cake was. The prices here are great, the service is outstanding, and they go above and beyond to make your dream come true. We will continue to get cake from Dutch Oven Bakery, no matter how far away we might be!! :)

My girls and I love going to Dutch Oven for daddy daughter dates. Can’t wait till they open back up! In the meantime, curbside pickup is great!! Bought a bunch of donut holes for a ministry event and they had them ready to go when I pulled up. Thank you!

One of my favorite bakeries! The ladies that work there are so nice, pastries are delicious, food is tasty, and espresso drinks hit the spot! My favorite Spicy Chai and Almond Horn. I'm a local teacher that travels from out of town and enjoys this spot at least weekly. Hope you enjoy this delightful Bakery as much as I do! It's such a treat!

Delicious pecan roll! Crispy caramelized edges and soft cinnamony center. I could eat a dozen I love them so much. Other yummy pastries and Dutch delights! Try the almond crescent dipped in chocolate with the flavored coffee!

Dutch Oven Bakery is a Boone staple. It's obvious that they have the best donuts and rolls in town, by far. However, you may not know that they serve excellent protein smoothies as well. More than that, their chicken salad croissants, Reubens, and soups are only surpassed by their friendly service. Highly recommend!

Amazing breads, pastries, coffee, soups, salads, and sandwiches! Nice location, usually comfortably busy (there are always groups of retired people there, but I'm always able to find a seat). They also make beautiful cakes! Highly recommended!

Always awesome! The Dutch Oven Bakery is Boone's unofficial meeting place for those who value great food, super service, and a comfortable atmosphere. You won't be disappointed.

A little /a lot disappointed. The glazed donuts were not fresh, hence had that wet feel glaze on the outside, drier on the inside.
Also, ordered a sprinkles cake donut, got sprinkled glazed. I went back in, they made it right, but it was inconvenient.
The cake donut was very dry.

The letters were VERY good, therefore they got 3 stars
