This is a small town hidden gem along the undiscovered interests on downtown Story St. in Boone, IA. Always clean and great service. Excellent Dutch bakery, lots of great pastries, breads, pies. Good lunch stop too. Enjoy!

I had one of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had there, and the coffee was fantastic. My wife and I stopped there on the way to get my son from camp, and we have decided this will be a regular tradition for us from now on. The selection of baked goods was also fantastic, my wife got the best Dutch Letter she has ever had outside of Pella.

A lot of good choices, I've never been there before. On the way to Southern Missouri we used to stop in Jefferson City and a donut place in early morning when we be going through there and they always had hot warm glazed donuts the place looks just like this one but they said no wasn't any affiliation.

I really enjoy their donuts and they offer good sandwiches/soup at lunch time. They offer good options and typically quick. The only downside is when there is event due to the size and set up as it can get very packed quickly. Stop in for a Dutch letter.

Been here more than a few times, and each time was a pleasure! Excellent coffee and baked goods, inexpensive, and the service is always cheerful and more than willing to assist. Their Big D doughnuts are amazing!! I will be visiting in the near future, and more often!

Great place for a quick lunch! I was surprised that this bakery that is well known amongst the locals for their delicious pastries and sweets does lunches as well. The lunch box was pretty basic but had all the needs and the price was unbeatable. Would recommend if you work close by and need a quick fix for lunch!

This is the best place in town for donuts, pastries, etc. I'm absolutely in love with the Mocha Cream Bismarcks. Eating in let's you indulge in more than one treat and there are free refills on coffee; tried their flavored coffee of the day and it's fabulous! They also serve breakfast and lunch - just don't expect the all the stuff you get from "regular" restaurants - but it's hard to go wrong here!

The pie we got for my brother was fantastic and the baked goods we got while picking it up were very nice, really disappointed with the service, felt like we were being rushed the whole time, the girl seemed very impatient and kepted repeating "anything else?" Even when we said we were deciding on what we wanted, i had said I wanted to get a drink and when I set down my dog bones at the register she immediately said my total with finality, so I felt like id be inconveniencing her to get a drink. All and all it was a fine experience and I get very nervous in new places so I'm not blaming her(everybody has bad days). I would still recommend this bakery for pick up :)
