So cute!! Coffee was delicious.. friendly staff and i tried the breakfast sandwich which was very satisfying.
The science nerd in me appreciated the lab tables and the vials. Great little study spot although I do wish for maybe one more table with chairs. The stools with no back only allowed for a little study time before my back started hurting. Thats just a personal note.

My daughter and I came here to study and work. What a cute little coffee shop! In the of Crust store, it is a cute blend of antique furniture and wonderful rich coffee smells. They make non caffeinated and energy drinks as well. There is a drive through. I got the Halo which has oak in it, which makes it taste more toasty. She got the Jeckyl and Hyde which is pretty sweet. Their hours were limited on Sunday, closing at 3:00 pm. Good for 1-2 people groups, no large tables for larger meetings. I would definitely return.

You can tell alot of time and effort went into creating the clever menu and atmosphere experience. Drinks are balanced. Perfect balance of flavor and good coffee. I highly recommend the PHD latte hot or iced. Do yourself a favor and stop by this locally owned coffee shop. Service is speedy and always friendly and they also have a drive thru which is very convenient!

The cutest coffee shop with the tastiest concoctions. I got the halo effect with oat milk which was recommended by the staff and it left me wanting more! I will be back.

The menu includes, among other apothecary-themed offerings, a "HeLa Cell" coffee drink, which is in extremely poor taste and likely very offensive to the family of Henrietta Lacks, the cancer patient for whom the cell line was named. Cells were harvested from Henrietta before her early death without her consent, and used for decades in medical research without compensation to her family. Having fought for years to get reasonable compensation, I'm sure they'd be glad to hear a coffee shop in Bettendorf, Iowa, is also profiting from their deceased relative's name.

ETA: I stand by my review. Perhaps this was well-intended but still shows extremely poor judgment. I don't know why you assume everyone who comes into your shop follows your social media posts. Did you ask permission from her family? Are you donating the profits from the sale of this drink to a cancer charity or her family? If not, then you are still profiting from an already exploited person's death, without their permission.

This place is doing some interesting stuff. I really liked my drink and I'm having trouble wrapping my head around how they did what they did. This is a little out of my way for a coffee, but the curiosity is enough to make me want to go out of my way.

A true family owned coffee shop. I had a Decaf expresso drink "Alter Ego" that was spot on. The Burrito was good loaded with cheese and bacon. Very unique décor and a comfortable atmosphere.

Beautiful little coffee shop! Lovely unique drinks with a spin on the originals. This morning I enjoyed a citrus chai tea and it was incredible. Check this place out.

Great coffee. Drive thru service is very slow. Typically takes at least 20 min.

Aptly named, Coffee Apothecary has a cure for what ails you.
This coffee shop serves crafted coffee (Concoctions), Energy drinks (Elixirs), Rishi teas (Healers) and Lotus drinks and smoothies (Remedies). A lot of thought went into this coffee shop. The drink names are unique with apothecary/medical themes.
The atmosphere is relaxing with antique lab tables, an apothecary era couch, original apothecary counter and relaxing music.
All around me people were commenting on how awesome their drinks were! My favorite is an energy drink called "The Bends" but I will be trying all of them to confirm that! The bakery treats are sooo good, flavorful and moist. The Chemist Breakfast, was really good, I had mine with turkey sausage. It is cooked on a panini and the bread has a little (not too much) crispness which I like.
The staff was friendly and Lexi was quick to point out and explain the menu.
Move over all you other coffee shops, Coffee Apothecary is here to stay!
