Maxwell's Beach Cafe

Great experience here! Super friendly staff and great food. My dad and I both have celiacs disease; eating gluten makes us very sick. Our waitress, Kailee, knew so much about the menu and was willing to work with the kitchen to make sure our food was gluten free. We are so well and felt very taken care of. Thank you Kailee and Maxwell’s!!

Amazing food, staff, and atmosphere. Everything we ordered was so fresh and cooked perfectly. I will definitely be returning soon!!

Rude managment. They do not know how to cook a steak properly. Im sure I will get a snide response like everyone else has. Those "rebuttles" should tell you everything that you need to know about the managment of this place.

Food was good when we ordered take out 2 week ago but when we tried to order tonight at 4:40 and no one in their restaurant we were told no take tonight. We have tried to support local restaurants during the COVID, but how about Maxwell's supporting customers who aren't comfortable dining in.

I had an amazing experience the last time I went !! I had Deanna as my sever but don’t recall her last name but she did and amazing job. She would check on us often and always would make us a priority it felt like! Thank you!!

Food was great, when it came time for the bill, as we had a party of 15, they decided to add all the checks together, and add a 20% gratuity. Between those 15 people, we had 4 Familys. One of the Familys had 2 people, as others had 5. They were going to split the bill equally between all 4 Familys and not break down them equally. When we asked to break them down to pay for what each family ate, they said they wouldn't do that because of the size of party we had. We asked to see the manager to break down our bills properly, and again said they wouldn't do it. We offered to do the math for them and they responded "don't be a smartass" and proceeded to ask what everyone had. Food is great but management doesn't seem to u understand on only pay for what you eat.

Very good food. Plenty of staff, even on a weekday at noon! Our waitress was polite and efficient. An overall nice experience and atmosphere!

I consider this the best restaurant in Okoboji. Great food, friendly staff, and thoughtful wine list. You can't beat the view of the beautiful lake, and Arnold's Park. I'd encourage reservations on weekends, the place fills up!

Great coconut shrimp appetizer! The staff is VERY accommodating to customers. Elegant inside seating or comfortable outside seating with a lively vibe and gorgeous lake view.
