This place is expensive - just keep that in mind going in. Otherwise, the coffee is pretty good, service is excellent and the location itself is beautiful. It can be quite crowded on the weekend, so just keep that in mind. I wouldn't pay $5.50 for my daily coffee, but it is absolutely fine every now and then.

Delicious food! The jewel color scheme is unique and fun. The food is delicious, and there are a variety of options. It's also cozy!

Very friendly staff and pretty fast service. Menu was limited but nonetheless had some delicious options! Ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup and it was good. Their breakfast burrito was unlike your traditional burrito, VERY delicious! Ordered caramel lattes and couldn’t put them down. Nice and inviting ambiance. Such a cute diner!

Stopped in for a quick snack and a drink with my daughter the other day. I like what they've done on the inside - it's pretty cute but not over board. Had some pretty tasty hot tea and a breakfast sandwich - everything was great and our server was friendly. My only complaint or comment - please get some regular black tea! I am excited to see what they do with outdoor seating when the weather improves!

OMG the food and service was great! Try the coffee comes with peach & honey.

The pour over coffee was so smooth. I'm trying to cut sugar and creamer from my diet and Daytime might be the ticket. Getting to know Stan's passion for his beans and entire process was a delight as I waited for the pork tacos. They were really tasty but I could have enjoyed three or four of them if it was my lunch or dinner. I'll be back for sure.

Ordered a sandwich and a mimosa. Everything tasted well until I bit into a large, dime sized chunk of bone. Shrugged it off and continued eating, only to find more bones. Took the plate back and I was given a completely new sandwich. Would have given 2 stars because the meal tasted really good, but nobody apologized for the sandwich that almost broke my tooth. Seems like the employees had a "I dont care" attitude. Like, the problem was my polite complaint, not the issue at hand. Also, a bit overpriced for the size of the sandwich and drink.

This is one of the cutest diners/ coffee shops that I have been in in a very long time. It has a very open and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is open and cute with a bit of a retro feel. The staff was super friendly and prompt. And the coffee, On. Point. 100% recommend checking this place out!

If you live in West Ames, or anywhere in the Central United States, you've GOT to give this place a try!! The owners are local (with amazing experience), the coffee is uniquely delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderful! You'll be telling your friends! :-)
