Grindhouse Cafe

The most beautiful little coffee shop that is always playing something good on the radio. It’s amazing to drink a fantastic cup of coffee while listening to Fleetwood Mac or MARINA. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, which can be sometimes hard to have at a smaller facility, but these guys pull it off. The drinks are great, the food is amazing (I recommend the Planet Claire), and they have cute merch to buy. I will be coming here so much now that I’ve found this place 💕

Crazy crack head couple verbally abusing their kids for the entire visit. Very loud acoustically. My experience wasn't great but the staff are very nice and the coffee is okay. Had a sandwich that was very tasty . I'll give it one more chance.

I tried to make it for breakfast, but that's over at 10:30 A.M., so I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. They didn't have croissants, but the friendly person suggested having it on a pretzel roll. Good suggestion! It was soft and tasted fresh. The pulled pork was nicely shredded with a red slaw with maybe pepper or onion that gave it a nice spiciness. It came in a box with a bag of chips. The only thing I wished for was more of that BBQ sauce. Next time I'll ask for some on the side. Carryouts only for now, the dining room is closed.

This place does not disappoint! I been in there 3 times so far- each time staff is kind and welcoming- the coffee selection is awesome. I just had the Carmel spiced latte with oat milk-it is perfect, compared to Starbucks- snd dunkin can’t even compete with this place. Perfect blend of expesso, oat milk, flavoring and not overly sweet. Cookies are good, my daughters gave a thumbs up to the strawberry smoothies....I like that there are vegan options too for food. This will be our new go to place! So glad they are here in good ol whiting Indiana! 😁🤩 and open in time for me to stop for coffee in the morning on my way to work.

I had the breakfast croissant sandwich and my daughter had the Turkey Dolo it was good. Customer service was amazing 👍🏼 the only thing is that it’s not handicap accessible.

Just as awesome as the original in Griffith!! Friendly staff, excellent coffee and food, and great atmosphere. Nice selection of hot sauces at the time as well.

The food and coffee are good here, but darn—at 6:30 am there was nonstop punk music blaring from the speakers. The music choice serves the servers, not the customers, who are, after all, just waking up.

The turkey on pretzel bread was outstanding! I like the different options for bread! The sandwich menu has so many options! You could tell everything is freshly made! I will definitely be back!
