I rarely give any review 5 stars. However, Greyhouse is one of my absolute favorite places to hang out and relax when I'm in West Lafayette. Great location on the hill and close to many good restaurants. But the atmosphere is fantastic. Tables, bar counters, comfy chairs, board games, books. Great stuff. And let's not forget the coffee. I lived in Central America for some time and since then have been addicted to Guatemalan coffee. Greyhouse has an awesome Guatemalan brew available! I also believe they have an ongoing relationship with brewers in Guate. I love it! They also have good tea and snacks. Gotta love this place. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

I've been coming here since freshman year at Purdue and I'm now a senior. I have to say, while it is a bit pricey, it's worth it. I've had the doctor strangelove more times than I can count and it's one of the reasons I keep coming back. Staff are super friendly and competent and the ambience is top tier. Greyhouse coffee is a great accompaniment to a long walk around campus for me.
I'm gonna miss this place when I move out of West Lafayette.

Nice place to hang out, good coffee and gelato. Classy rustic ambience. Very slow service at times with long lines. Grey cap is awesome. Donuts are surprisingly good. Crapes are decent. The regular coffee is not impressive at all however.

Great selection of beverages, very friendly and helpful staff, might have had the best ambiance of any coffee shop I've ever been to. If you're looking for a 5 star coffee shop this is the one. Nice temperature and interesting and unique array of art. I would not recommend getting their coffee, it might be the worst tasting liquid I've ever put in my mouth so I'm probably never going back for their drinks.

I've been coming here since they opened. The quality is as high as it ever was. Every frappe is better than you're going to get elsewhere - from the mocha frappe to the Dr. Strangelove, which has a touch of orange flavour.
The pourovers are the best in town, and better than any coffee shoppe in Indy. The tea selection rivals any tea shoppe in the state for quality and variety. I like the blueberry rooibos tea or any of them made with hibiscus.
+++++
The Starbucks killer. No competition locally for mochas, frappes, or pourovers. Give them your money.

I come here every time I am near Purdue West Lafayette and always love the coffee, ambiance, crepes, and everything. They do a great job, and Purdue students are fortunate to have it! For us non-students, a place to sit has gotten more challenging, even though they have expanded their seating areas, but that just reinforces my opinion of what a great spot this is. Coffee draws from PT’s Roasters in Topeka, which I frequented when I was in that neck of the woods and is a great choice. I wouldn’t ask Greyhouse to change a thing.

Greyhouse, you have my heart and my soul. I've been coming to Greyhouse since I left Purdue University and moved to Colorado. Each time I return to West Lafayette, IN I spend as many days as possible within the walls of this fine establishment. Most of the time I meet friends there, getting their bottomless cup of coffee and a crepe. Ahhh, delicious from head to toe. They have recently done a renovation and it looks absolutely stunning, they did a fabulous job maintaining the original vibe and reorganizing the flow of the interior. Super stoked to come back next year. For you locals, please go visit, especially if you enjoy coffee and conversation. There are many college students studying, taking a break, and enjoying card games and the like, great fun.

Best coffeehouse on campus. Their coffee is a little more expensive than what you might be used to, but it's a high-quality, delicious product every time. Great ambiance. The staff is consistently SUPER nice- I've been there dozens of times and my server/barista has never been grumpy or rude. The gelato is exceptional and worth the expense.

Nice comfy place that serves good coffee and a few snacks. They have a variety of very nice crepes on their menu. Place can get pretty crowded and it may be difficult to find a place to sit because most of the patrons are students and they occupy the seats for a long time while they eat and study/talk/discuss.
