Best coffee in town, often came here to study during my undergrad years at Purdue. Grey Capp is my favorite, the espresso often has a nice velvety texture, along with a toasty note, perfect combination with milk, topped with a dense milk foam. Recommended!

I think the customer service needs help. I go there an hour before closing and they say they can't give me an actual mug because the store closes soon (an hour!), grumpy girls. I don't go there often but while the place looks inviting, the customer service is groggy. I would frequent several years ago and looks like given how easy it is to draw crowds, they don't try their hand at service. Don't even have kombuchas on the tap or in glass bottles, go to Vienna instead, awesome hours and service, way better selections.

Crepes are wonderful, both savory and sweet. Nice atmosphere. We go when students are off campus to avoid major crowds and waits.

I just got a hot cocoa and a mocha to go. I had to wait about 15 minutes, which would have been fine, except when I took a sip of my hot cocoa it was Luke warm at best. My husband does like his mocha.

Greghouse is the best coffee location on Purdue's campus. It has a comfortable, cozy, atmosphere with a large number of tables and lounge chairs. Not to mention that coffee is top notch and the wait staff is fast and friendly. This is a great location to sit down with a book or with a pile of homework to work through. If you don't have anything to do then enjoy the coffee and play some card games or a board game with friends.

Europe, Central America, and the US, I can honestly say this is my favorite coffee shop in the world. You walk in and feel like you're home. I've noticed many people here say the coffee is awful or tastes like mud. I think this is because many people haven't experienced the joy that is ultra-fresh, french pressed coffee before. The rich, earthy flavors and oils that lends to the coffee are something to experience (and admittedly something to get used to if you haven't had much french press before). Just a hint if you're new to french press: don't drink the last sip in the cup, and yes that stuff (silt) in the bottom of the cup is normal. It means it's good!

At Greyhouse they hand press each batch of coffee. Beans are never kept past expiration date and the coffee is constantly being made fresh so you're never going to get a cup that's been sitting around all day in a carafe.

The coffee comes fresh roasted from fair trade or direct trade with suppliers. That's great because you know the farmers are getting a decent wage for their product. In many cases, the staff have visited and personally know the farmers from whom they get their coffee. As to the cost, like many other things in life, you get what you pay for. Anytime I'm back at Purdue, Greyhouse is an absolute MUST.

I find this neat little coffee shop to be a little overpriced. That being said, I love their crepes and their coffee, and the atmosphere is the perfect coffee shop. Super friendly staff and always very clean

Amazing coffee, but not inexpensive in the slightest. I waited a bit longer than I thought I should have, but seemed like there must've been a line before I got there. Overall, outstanding coffee, great service, and really cool atmosphere. I need to visit here more often.

I visited this place in the summer, so I am not sure how crowded it gets when Purdue is in full session. In the summer, it was a mellow place where you could hang out and have a relaxed cup of coffee. The music is gentle, so you can have a proper conversation (or study).

Order at the counter and wait for your name to be called. Keep an eye on the order, because they don't always seek you out.

The crepes are absolutely delicious -- I tried the rooster (eggs and Gouda), cinnamon roll, and berries & cream. Awesome!

The old fashioned donuts are very good. Other donuts are okayish.

Coffee is excellent (masala chai is genuinely good too)!

This place made me happy!

I visited Greyhouse Cafe several times. The coffees are pricey, but it is reasonable, given good atmosphere to read, socialize and hangout with others. Probably this is one of two local coffee shops that are famous around Purdue University.
