Java Haute

Great coffee, tasty food, and fascinating artwork. The employees were super friendly and they even brought over a peach and rosemary scone for free. We had an awesome experience and hope to be back soon.

I've lived in Terre Haute for five years now and have been coming here regularly since day one. I love the atmosphere and artwork.

They recently slimmed down their menu and no longer serve sandwiches and such. Their new toast options are very good though. The avocado and feta was delicious. I've tried a lot of gluten free breads, and their homemade is awesome. I haven't tried the salads yet, but I bet they're very good. The coffee is always good.

My wife is less inclined to go here anymore, as she is not a coffee drinker and loved the baked potato grilled cheese. 😔 She hopes they will have something similar as a special "Toast of the Week" option at least in the future. She hopes the new menu works out well.

The staff is great, too! Didn't want to forget to say that. 🙂

I went through the drive thru this morning. I don’t know if they saw the TARDIS plate in my car, but they put a great Doctor Who quote in my cup. What a way to personalize! The summer flavored coffee I got was fantastic as well. Great local place for coffee!

Java Haute is one of the best places to enjoy a cup of coffee in Terre Haute. The staff is always great, and the coffee is top notch. The atmosphere invites young and old alike. The only problem is they're so popular! The place is always full! I strongly recommend it.

I love Java Haute.........BUT they need to go back to being open until 12:00am like they used to in the beginning❗ Closing at 6:00pm everyday doesn't seem like good business sense, and they must be losing money over it. I have gotten to the point where I don't even bother to go over there anymore.........which is sad....it is a great little place❗

Very nice staff, fresh food, homemade syrups. This place is definitely worth it, better than starbucks for sure. They also write the cute messages on your cup.

They used to have amazing coffee, but they changed it for some reason. Now it's a guessing game, whether it's even drinkable. At least half of the time, it's terrible.

The staff and customer service, of course, is wonderful. They did help me find something similar to what they used to make, and it can be very good, but they only have that type of coffee in the morning.

I personally give up on this place. I've wasted so much money hoping the coffee will be good on that day.

I was upset at first that they removed their breakfast and lunch menu. The new owners are doing a great job though! Awesome drinks as always, with new seasonal drinks that are amazing!! It will always be my favorite coffee shop in town!
