I was absolutely thrilled when I heard that this Goshen staple was opening a location in South Bend! Chris has some serious roasting prowess. The coffees and espresso drinks are fantastic, the staff friendly, and the space is comfortable and full of natural light. Don’t miss the rooftop seating on beautiful days. They offer a variety of fresh pressed juices and food options as well. This place has the best cold brew I’ve ever had. Another treat is the offering of exotics featuring pink bourbon and geisha varietals. The flavor profiles will blow you away! Check Sway out, you will not be disappointed. I love this place. I discovered it over the summer and always make sure to come here when I’m back in town. All the workers are extremely friendly and the environment inside is very welcoming. Every coffee drink I’ve had has been made perfectly and very flavorful.

I’m studying for the bar exam and I love this coffee shop. It’s very clean, staff is friendly, and the coffee is refined. The drip has a crisp taste (won’t break the bank either) and specialty coffees are likewise incredible. Sway is a hidden gem in South Bend. The food is also amazing. I can’t recommend this place high enough; I’ll definitely be back!

Highly recommend Sway! They always have provided my husband and I a great experience. Amazing coffee and tea long with delicious food options! The baristas are always so pleasant. For sure one of our favorite coffee houses!

we just stumbled in the other day - new to the area, and apparently, this is a new shop too - and SO good! Some amazing coffee options and teas too, great treats, snacks and breakfast/lunch options too. Super helpful staff and one amazing shop - beautiful interior, layout and design! Airy, open and wonderful way to start the day, or find a mid day snack, work break, etc. Quick walk to the park and other downtown locations too.

Sway is definitely my new favorite coffee shop! The coffee is excellent, the ambiance is awesome and the staff are super friendly. The food is great too (the sweet and spicy is definitely my favorite so far!). And it’s a super family friendly place. I’ll take my 1-year-old here for lunch before we head to the zoo. He makes a huge mess eating and the staff doesn’t bat an eye when they come clean it up!

To the person who gave Sway a 1-star review: It’s definitely not mediocre, they have flocks of customers on a daily basis. Clearly they’re doing something right. And maybe you should try reading up on current health guidelines, since you’re so concerned with others. You’re probably mixing them up with Zen Coffee down the street. Talk about mediocre coffee!

Very nice place using beans roasted in Indiana….Cortado was good…food looked good as well.

Top Notch Equipment for the coffee snobs out there, and excellent espresso drinks. They roast their own beans and clearly know what they are doing behind the bar. Just watching them prep the portafilter is enough information this self described coffee aficionado needs. The space is open and airy, perhaps a bit loud at peak times. The owner had us try one of his single origin brews on the house and it blew us away.

The baristas are always super attentive and really intentional with conversations and recommendations. The atmosphere is so nice, really relaxing and welcoming! The coffee, the breakfast burritos, the scones—all spectacular too! Totally recommend!

Walked a mile in the rain for a good cup of coffee early this morning. The best cup of coffee I’ve had in a while. Started with a cappuccino - then had a panama pour over. With a crafted breakfast burrito.
