Coffee was pretty good. I would rate 7 of 10. They don't offer a good drip dark roast, which was disappointing. The price was steep for my regular, $5.50, but my biggest complaint is the 5% surcharge they added for a cc transaction without letting me know. I'm not against adding a cc surcharge as I own a business and deal with this issue as well, BUT: one, they should inform customers of the surcharge at the time of the transaction, I had cash and could have paid that way. Two, most merchants pay around 3% for cc transactions. Would be fine with that. 5% on top of a $5.50 regular coffee? Not so much. Won't be back.

Great coffee and amazing atmosphere! I got the bourbon maple latte and it was spectacular! Very friendly staff and good customer service.

Great place to enjoy a decent coffee. Food is meh. Staff is wonderful and friendly. I’m case you are particular, the espresso tastes nutty and buttery, so not the dark, bitter taste of a Starbucks.

Good experience. I am no coffee connoisseur but I enjoyed a dark roast pour over with hints of citrus and a fresh herb ( Ethiopia Dukamo). Seating was unexpectedly a bit too tight for my taste.

Beautiful space. Mediocre coffee. Inexplicably slow barista. If your priority is lots of natural light, it's a great place to sit. But if you care about good coffee, better hit up Cloud Walking or a Roaster Called Revenant...

One of the few coffee shops that will make you an iced pour over. Hard to find that even in Chicago. The coffee and vibes of the place are great. Only negative is that a bag of beans is a bit pricey even though it’s good quality.

Every time I visit South Bend, this is one of my first stops. Great coffee and a lovely bright atmosphere - plus they always play some great jams.

Expensive and not great coffee. Wasn't impressed with loud music either..could barely converse and hear other person over music. Asked for cream and was handed a plastic jug of half and half with no stirrer or napkin. $5 for one regular cup of coffee and it was not good or hot.

I have been in Sway more times than I can remember now. The employees, food, and coffee are all excellent! The main coffee brewing methods drip (Ground Control coffee brewing), pour over, espresso, and cold brew (cold drip tower). Having this variety of methods provides plenty of options for each person’s preferences. This variety was one of the main draws to visit, and everything else keeps me coming back!

Modern space with music, rooftop area, and a kitchen. I had just a coratdo and it was delicious. I prefer my coffee shops quieter but if you have a meeting or want to talk, it’s a good space for that 🤙🏼
