Best hot chocolate I’ve ever had!! love the environment and staff is great!

I called in to make an order and the gentleman cut me off and said that he has some other people that he needed to tend to.

My husband and I visited New Harmony for the first time and stopped in here to check it out. We were blown away by the service and the taste of the coffee. Being greeted by Alex was delightful. He was so quick to help us make a decision on what to drink (my husband ordered the harmonist and i got ghirardelli chocolate fabulousness of some sort) as well as where to go next once we left there. The espresso taste was amazing in both of our drinks and the service, even better. Thank you Alex.

Was in the area to hike at Harmonie State Park, and stopped by beforehand to have a coffee to start the day. Great coffee and extremely friendly service. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Amazing products, amazing people. The tea drinks were nothing short of amazing and the bagel with lox…so good!

You can't beat the small-town (village?) ambiance that permeates New Harmony! Stop first and foremost at Black Lodge to mingle with Alex (the owner) and fine selection of workers who greet you with a smile along with perfected skills in making warm/cold, delicious drinks that tantalize the palate and melt away the stress of our routine lives! Afterwards, take time to walk to the Roofless Church, the historic Atheneum, the Labyrinth State Memorial, Cathedral Labyrinth (yes, it's a different one), Tillich Park (named after the famed philosopher Paul Tillich), Firehouse Antiques (lovely owners and great selection), small parks with fountains & sculptures, and delicious eateries! When done, return to Black Lodge to "chillax" again inside or out in the courtyard to enjoy the space, the people, and the peace. If you feel up to it, take a walk during the evening/night hours to embrace the silence that our souls seek. In other words, New Harmony is exactly the kind of place that reminds us that life is worth living! :-)

Great place to work from and enjoy great coffee! Wifi is fast, staff is fantastic and they have a great selection of classic and unique/signature drinks! Definitely stop in :)

First visit today 1-26-2021. Found this place to be very quiet, owner very knowledgeable about all coffee questions we had. (Even let us try a few samples). Would recommend this place for a great coffee break while enjoying the town of New Harmony.

Often when I go here; I will ask for a coffee that I want, to find out they are out. But, I kinda get a little excited when this happens, because they recommend a different one and I take it and try it. To say I have a favorite, no, why? Because all have been amazing! Sometimes they are crazy busy, like yesterday, but the service never disappoints. This has been a major asset to our little town!

On a road trip from CO to VA, we were in serious need of non gas station coffee and this place was the BEST find!!!! The most amazing owner - so welcoming and helpful - and the cutest quaintest space possible! Highly recommend and hope I’m in the area again one day to enjoy a perfect cup of coffee on the sunny patio!
