Great coffee shop in a historical building. I'm just a plain coffee drinker and the 16 oz mug was perfect. A variety of teas are available. The bagels and coffee cake are tasty. This is a good stop for a light breakfast. I believe they are closed on Wednesdays, so check the opening times.
The did take credit cards when I was there.

Ordered and received excellent coffee. Popsicles look amazing and staff was friendly. Also, very knowledgeable about the lovely area of New Harmony. If you're in the area, you've got to stop in for a great coffee of your choice ☕

I love this place. Great coffee and excellent baristas. They are so friendly and knowledgeable. The building is warm and friendly. I could stay in there for hours.

We got stuck in the rain while walking through New Harmonie and the owner opened the coffee shop back up to make us delicious coffee and let us wait out the downpour. She gave us a mini tour to pass the time, which included a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic overview of the in-store roasting process, as well as stories about their friendly ghost. Amazing coffee and awesome humans. 10/10, def recommend.

Nice little coffee house in a amazing little town. The coffee employees treated me like family truly enjoyed my experience there can't wait to return. Next time I'm sitting down and taking my time.

We visited here in June and tried the Iced Coffee's. It's a quite and cozy spot with friendly staff and is easily walkable from anywhere in town.

Gonna be honest here, I'm disappointed...that I grew up in the area and this MAGNIFICENT place wasn't here sooner! The guys created a flavorful butterscotch decaf coffee for me with Oatmilk! (When one must drink decaf at least it can be flavorful. Am I right!?) I enjoyed a lemon loaf that they had which was made by someone locally and was devoured by the kids I had with me as we explored the quiet town one warm summer morning. This is a must visit! Bravo! 👏👏👏

Black Lodge is a charming little coffee shop nestled in the historic town of New Harmony. Not only was the espresso excellent (and made correctly) but they also have the friendliest staff. As soon as we walked in we were greeted pleasantly and taken care of right away. I also noticed they greeted some of the regular customers by name, which doesn’t go unnoticed. I ordered a drink off menu (Miel) and they were happy to accommodate. I spoke with the owner, Alex, who was extremely friendly and genuine, and has an extensive background in coffee. They source their coffee ethically from Brazil and will be happy to tell you about it. The building itself is historic and beautiful. Whether you’re in New Harmony or close by, Black Lodge is worth the stop.

This is the best coffee I have ever had and I drink way to much coffee . The beer syrups take it up a notch but a flat white here is also a dream ! If you are thirsty , in need of caffeine or lonely you will find just what you need here!
