Very inviting atmosphere! You can help yourself to the many books, and the barista even stated that they have a library system where you can take them home. There are many plants and multiple seating areas. You can purchase many different artists work, like this book mark. They have a nice sized menu with coffee, pastries and sandwiches. Keep this coffee shop in mind for the next time you want to escape the weather, or just need to relax.
It was a super nice place! The hot chocolate was warm and delicious and the seats were comfortable. I had a chocolate croissant, it was also very good. They also have a lot of books to choose from! The only thing that would make this place 5/5 stars would be music, maybe some kind of relaxing music playing quietly.
Cozy warm gathering spot. Coffee is lovely and the bagels are plump and fresh. Charcuterie trays are perfect for sharing with some one special. The books add charm while the plants bring life to gray chilly days.
Slice of Heaven. The ambience, food/drinks, hospitality~5⭐️ Our first visit and we had the bagel turkey sandwich, kitchen cookie, french toast bagel, Shakespeare latte. Delicious. Heritage Meeting House: A MUST Experience.📖 ☕️
This coffee shop has it all! Excellent coffee, delicious bagels, bake goods and Sandwiches, friendly service, relaxing atmosphere & clean, and books. The best coffee cafe in Mishawaka.
The place smells fantastic and is tangibly cozy. Book selection is genuinely decent: mythology, religion, mammals, travel, reference, classics, YA, and more.
They have local crafts and tiny potted plants you can buy.
Seasonal beverages include peppermint, eggnog, and gingerbread lattes. Their year-round coffee menu features interesting flavors like lavender or orange-rosemary, and are named for famous authors! A lit nerd's dream.
Before today I had only been once before and when they were less than a year old. Today I went with my 6 month old daughter to get out of the house a little. It was very nice! I read her some books and I did some writing. I ordered a coffee and bagel and it did take quite a while to get both. But luckily I had nothing but time so it didn’t bother me. I loved the selection of books! I even grabbed a couple to read to my baby. It was such a great way to start off not just the day but also the week. I will definitely be coming back!
This place is pretty nice. Great, bottomless coffee; delicious coffee cakes and scones; lots of seating. I do wish they would better communicate their hours. Today for example they are closing for several hours due to thunderstorms, which seems like a bizarre thing for a business to do; I wish I'd had a way to know about this closure before driving all the way there.
