We ordered two coffees with nobody else in line and walked out fifteen minutes later. The cashier and barista seemed to be more into talking to one another and fiddling with the machines and iPad than actually making coffee.
If you want a more local place than Starbucks, this place would be great as you don't mind waiting around.

Good coffee, but I won't be going back because of a bad experience with the staff. First ordered a cappuccino. The barista: "do you want the small one or the 16 oz one?" Girl, even Starbucks doesn't expect their customers to not know what a cappuccino is. When I tried to order another one, another negative and condescending experience.

Probably the best coffee I've ever had, and I don't give out stars that easily. Great place, friendly service, very decent food options, and waffles on weekends and Wednesdays are GREAT.

I got the French press coffee, and played a couple games of chess and tic tac toe with a friend. Be warned, they play explicit music here, so it may not be the best place to bring kids. But it seems like a really trendy place to get a beverage

I take the bus from the middle of Purdue's campus to come here to study or do homework because the coffee and environment inside is the best. My favorite is a coconut flavored mocha

Star City is easily the best coffee shop in Lafayette. I've still not gone to Greyhouse in West Lafayette, but I've had no reason to go there.
Star City has excellent espresso from Counter Culture, one of the best coffee and espresso roasters in the country. They use a two-head La Marzocco machine, and prepare their coffee via French press. They offer traditional espresso drinks, and offer some unique flavored drinks (namely, and agave latte, and a Nutella latte). They also have quite a few great teas on hand that they prepare and steep per order.
As far as food goes, they have amazing cupcakes from a local bakery, and they have six very delicious paninis (personal favorite: the spicy capicola).
Oh yeah, they have beer! Four rotating beers on tap, of which two are normally local.
If you like coffee, you'll love this place!

Hands down the best coffee in town with even better staff that make you feel right at home when sipping on your morning cup of joe!

Great place to sit and work. There are ample outlets, and the bar seating areas are nice so that you don't take up a bunch of space when by yourself. Good people, good space, good drinks.

Just came here for the first time and ordered a cold brew, black. I could tell by the taste that it was not a cold brew and probably just plain iced coffee because it was watered down and tasted very burnt and low quality. Could not even have more than a few sips before I had to dump it. I had high hopes based on previous reviews but unfortunately I will not be coming back here.

Nice, quaint coffee shop in Downtown Lafayette. I like the outdoor setting and a good collection of brewed teas. Good for a quiet, lazy afternoon hang
