What a great addition this wonderful market is to our downtown! First of all, the historic building is gorgeous, there is so much attention to detail in the beautiful market. Whether you're shopping for a nice gift, unique items for yourself, having a delicious meal with someone or looking for all the ingredients for a special meal at home, you will find it in this store. They offer a lovely seating area mezzanine if you'd like to enjoy your freshly prepared food there or you could pick up something to go for lunch . If you haven't been to the Bistro Market &Deli, be sure to go and check it out .

Best coffee in Lafayette easy. Nowhere else even comes close to the quality and atmosphere. The sandwiches are also really great.

There's something special for everyone here! The deli counter is a hit with my kids, the coffee is delicious, I can find a gift for anyone, and they have very thoughtful items to add a little magic to any holiday.

This is a great little market downtown that people in the neighborhood don't have to drive out of the way to get their necessities that they need with being so close. Great people and great atmosphere! Reasonable prices on everything.
Best place in town!!

Absolutely the winner. Coffee is the cheapest and best you can get downtown. If you have lactose intolerant friends or vegan company this is literally the only cafe to go to. In every other cafe downtown, the coffee is either too hot or acidic and curdles plant milks. Just sayin' !

The market is a strength of the community and everything is clean, exciting, and shatters expectations. The sandwiches are beautiful and they have everything to fit your dietary needs.

Try the earl-grey and espresso mix, the fig balsamic, and there regular brew iced!

Stopped for some sandwiches. What a fuss we made over our superb food, their unique market items, and the layout of the store. It was a fun, memorable experience! Can't wait to return!

I went here when I lived in Lafayette. Sourced all sorts of high quality stuff from here. Definitely recommend.

Open and airy layout with very visible vegan/vegetarian options in a beautiful building. Desperately needed this in town, because there was a definite food desert in downtown Lafayette, where there is a high concentration of people who don't have a car (like me). But this is just a hop skip and a jump away from my apartment on my bike, and I can be there and back in about 30 minutes, plus all the time I spend browsing their interesting selection.

Plus they support package-free!

To find the entrance, look for the Open flag waving up high (between the Bistro 501 restaurant and the Knickerbocker)! It almost looks like a double door apartment entrance.
Lunch: We had deli sandwiches (chicken salad sandwich!) and specialty coffees. Casual seating, both upstairs and on the main floor. Main floor is wheelchair accessible.
Market: Refill station (black rice, dried fruit, etc), local eggs, amazing honey selection and giftable jars, fresh produce, ready to take & bake your own chicken pot pie, and so much more. (Brooms & baskets for starters).
Currently (December) there are so many great items for gifts and stocking stuffers. I highly recommend just browsing for half an hour, there are so many treasures to discover!
