Heine Brothers Coffee - Veterans Parkway

I really like this place, with some minor reservations. For one, I find that Heine roasts their beans much darker than I like. In fact, they are basically burnt. Their saving grace is that they have wonderful signature drinks that I love, and can't get anywhere else. Make a sweet enough drink, and it balances out the burnt beans nicely enough that it works.

The other thing is, several times when I tried to order decaf, they gave me regular. I have had to watch them to make sure they give me the right thing, but having said that, the staff are generally friendly and helpful. I do like this place quite well.

When my cousin and I have a girls day and want a delicious coffee, hot or cold Heine's is the place we go. Everytime we've came here we were greeted with friendly staff and awesome coffee. I also have to say the Carmel Vanilla Iceberg coffee was Out Of This World, very delicious. This is the perfect place to come. Enjoy!!!

This is a great place to work or study. The workers are friendly and they have a good variety of pastries and sandwiches in case you get hungry. They have some of the best craft beverages you can get in Louisville. The Mayan mocha is spicy and interesting which makes it one of my personal favorites.

Absolutely amazing coffee! Only downside was that my lactose intolerant sister couldn't get the blended coffee she wanted because their mixes don't work with their nonlactose options. So if you have no tummy issues, I 100% recommend!

I've driven through a few times but only once gone into the store around 7pm when there was only one other customer. The same drink that I order in the Drive Thru took 15 minutes longer when I was sitting inside the store.
The staff were friendly and the products were tasty. Prices are pretty high. I was using gift cards when I visited. I would probably not shop there normally as I am a bit frugal.
Price is why I gave them 4 stars.

Drive through is the worst!
Why people decide to wait instead of going on who knows. Then I found out you stand in a non existent line for as long as you wait in the drive through. The staff doesn’t greet, or acknowledge you’re standing there. I guess if you do go through the drive through they are forced. Also, who still has customers sign receipts??? Oh a company that wants you to tip that’s who.

The store was super clean, the coffee was good and the baristas were nice. I just moved in the neighborhood and am glad this is so close for a quick coffee or hot chocolate. Other heine bros that I'm used to have a darker tone to it inside but this one felt more vibrant and bright due to the lighter colors and tons of natural sunlight.

I knew once a decent coffee shop opened near me I'd become a regular. I know so many of the baristas that when I go in I feel like Norm on Cheers.

The coffee is good, maybe not the best in the region but light-years beyond the used engine oil Starbucks sells. There's also a nice variety so when I feel like a cold drink or just a change from coffee I can find one

Just drove off from this location after waiting in line for OVER 10 mins after ordering.... there was a single car ahead of me with one person inside that car. With the lobby closed, there is no reason I should’ve had to wait over 10 mins for a hot latte. As I left, I waited at the light to turn onto veterans for quite some time. The car ahead of me in line at the DT, still hadn’t left when I got through the intersection. Absolutely pathetic. Definitely will never be back to this location.

My husband and I were out Christmas shopping Saturday Dec. 4th, we decided to stop at our favorite coffee place, however today was NOT our favorite...We ordered 2 large mocha icebergs with whipped cream...when we pulled to the window, we were handed 2 med cups of slush that not only didnt taste like coffee, but it was missing our whipped and we asked for...the barista was very rude, needless to say, we will no longer be going there and have now chosen coffee crossing as our new coffee place...good luck to all of you at this location
