Lulu's Coffee & Bakehouse

Amazing coffee. I moved to this area and lived in downtown carmel next to indie roasters which my brother and I love. I found this gem to find out they actually sell their coffee grounds. Lulus coffee is just as good. I get the iced vanilla latte and it’s so good. The service is great and they actually have a variety of food. I’m glad I found them.

Expected more based on the reviews. We ordered 2 coffees and a scone. Coffee was good and came quickly. But after about 15 minutes we were still waiting on the scone so I went to check. The lady at the counter kind of brushed me off with a "yeah...sure." After another 15 minutes we were still waiting and they looked to be really busy with other things so I asked for a refund. She refunded my money but seemed utterly unconcerned about losing a customer. There was also a strong smell of cigarette smoke near the counter . In short, we did not like the way this place felt.

It's been a year since I've been to Lulu's but I thought I'd give it another shot because I didn't have the best experience last time. Well, I walk in and the young lady, with black hair and jeans on, that helped us seemed like she didn't even want to be there. She was rude and unpleasant. I completely understand that there could've been something that happened to her this week or even today but we all have stuff going on. I was very unhappy and will probably never go back. One upside was the young lady with the striped black pants was super sweet and made our experience better so thank you for that.

Omg. Just omg. My favorite drink is the spiced chai latte, but the winter wonderland drink special was amazing.

Lulu's has become my go to coffee shop. I'm usually off on Friday's so I go in and usually get a quiche. For $6.99, you get a quiche and muffin or scone. I grab a coffee and take advantage of their coffee club; buy 10 get 1 free. Staff is pleasant and offers helpful suggestions if you are undecided. The shop itself is very relaxing. I'm able to catch up on my readings and with my coffee in hand the mornings ease on by.
On this visit lulu's had a strawberry and blueberry coffee blend that was delicious. Also, took home a couple of day old scones for 0.75 cents each and they were delicious; as is all of their food. Can't wait to see what awesome blend they will have next week.

The seasonal coffees are devine. Fun staff.

I tell everyone I know about this place. By far the best chai latte I’ve ever had, and their coffee is equally awesome. I used to go regularly, but then I moved to a different part of town, so it’s harder for me to just stop in these days. Please open more locations.

Best coffee in town! Their vegan blueberry baked oatmeal is to freakn die for!

Just discovered this gem. Great service, yummy looking breakfast bakery items. I had the Indian spiced dirty chai. It has a shot of Expresso. Right up my alley. Loved it.
