I love coming here! it’s always a fun stop on the monon for me. I have met Liv a couple times there and she always has a friendly demeanour and is welcoming to me.

Food is not great, and extremely limiting, however they are a cafe and do have some great seasonsal drinks!

Staff is friendly and quick on the job.

The venue itself is great! They have the garage door walls, areas you can stand and work and areas you can sit and work.

Wifi 90% of the time. At one point I was going there 3+ times a week.

Its a great addition to the area, much more than of a modern feel than neighborhood feel, but still fairly cozy.

Summer time though.. Due to the doors alone, add on the location right off the Monon, this place can be very hard to beat as far as atmosphere goes.

Yayy, finally a local coffee house with an amazing blended (frappe) coffee! If you're into frappuccinos or having your coffee dropped in a blender then this is definitely worth a stop!

My only feedback is that I look forward to the next level of eco friendly straws. The paper ones usually collapse/dissolve after about 20-ish minutes. Then I revert to spoons 😅💕

I got the honey cinnamon latte (may not have the correct name) and it was delicious! Hands down one of the best coffee drinks I've had, even the whipped cream was delicious. Highly recommend trying them.

Enjoyed a salted caramel oatmilk latte that was decaf. Quick and friendly service. Nice location off the monon trail in Broadripple. 2nd location I've been to.

Great coffee, but hours are very limited and employees are rude.

After my morning run I thought I would get a coffee at Java House, which I have done several times before, in the afternoon. I tried to go in at 6:50, but the door was locked. I realized they were closed when the opening employee shot me a dirty look. I decided to walk around for ten minutes until open, as I love getting the cold brew with cream/foam. Once they opened I went in. The employee did not greet me and ignored me until I spoke to her. I asked for the cold brew foam that is similar to Starbucks sweet cream foam (this is what I always ask for and the afternoon employees have no problem providing a similar suggestion). This morning, however, the employee began arguing with me that they do not have these. When I asked for something similar she continued to argue that nothing existed. After several minutes of arguing I remembered the name and asked if I could have a cold brew with vanilla cream/foam. You would think this would have been the end of it but the opening employee hadn't had enough. She then began to argue that this tastes nothing like Starbucks sweet cream foam. I replied by saying "well it tastes plenty sweet to me and other employees have suggested this as an alternative, so I'll do that". The employee looked at me and said it tastes nothing like that; "what do you want". Once again I said "I think it tastes great and very similar, I'll have that please".

She went to getting my drink then looked over and yelled "Ma'am. Ma'am. Card Ma'am" in an aggressive tone, as I was already actively changing the direction I inserted my card into the chip reader. During all of this my dog was tied up on the other side of the path, as they don't have anywhere to hook your dog up outside on their patio. Once I returned to her I realized I forgot her pup cup, but wasn't willing to go through dealing with the employee again, so we went elsewhere to get what we needed.

If the coffee wasn't so good I would leave a lower rating. Lesson learned that after a Friday morning run I will go out of my way to Starbucks who is open at 5:30AM and has much friendlier employees, despite not being a local business. My suggestion would be to hire an employee that can manage waking up and being friendly at 7AM, as I am certainly not the only person on the Monon at that time getting a coffee before work. I also doubt I'm the only person looking for an alternative to one of Starbucks most popular drinks, while also trying to support local. It may be worth training employees on a suggested alternative and suggestions on what to put on a cold brew instead of drinking it black.

Pictured below is the distance between the counter and the closest point I can tie up my dog. I know I cannot get coffee after runs if I'm alone and it is not early in the morning as the distance could result in a disaster if another dog were to go after her while I'm in the shop.

I love the coffee and location and I am very understanding about pets not allowed inside, that being said it would be nice to have a walk up window to order, given the location and that i was told i was unable to order coffee inside as i had my pooch on me and was by myself so i couldn’t really leave her with anyone outside. Again I completely understand and was not unfriendly nor was i treated unfriendly, but for the fall months I know there is definitely more than one person wanting to enjoy some coffee outside with their pooch 😊

*follow-up on previous review* - after reaching out to the parent company, they appreciated the feedback, apologized for our experience as drinks should indeed be full and sent some free drink coupons and mugs and a hand-written note. Our drinks today were full and the customer service we received by reaching out is an A. I'll continue patronage and update review with consistency moving forward. Really appreciate making it right, means a lot in today's society.

I love the drinks, the atmosphere, the 3 stars is because the drinks have been regularly only 2/3 full. I thought maybe it was a fluke, but with multiple drinks for multiple people over multiple visits, I'm not sure how this can be sustainable. They are delicious, I just would like my cup full.
