Super friendly, great customer service. I ordered the Latte, very good, not too milky. Lovely space to meet and catch up.

We were visiting Indy and in search of a local coffee shop to pop in for breakfast. I loved the drink options here; seasonal, very customizable, and the only shop I've seen offer macadamia milk. They have one breakfast sandwich on the menu, and it's all they need because it's incredible! The biscuit is subtly sweet, flaky, and buttery. It's not your typical fast food sandwich and is 1000% better: it has a cheese sauce, hard boiled egg, sausage patty, and an onion jam that's subtle, but adds a lot to it. There's also seasonal pastries that looked amazing with GF/Vegan friendly options. The folks were very friendly and there's space out on the patio. Foundation Coffee was definitely the right choice!

This place is small and a bit hidden away on the side of the Patachou Foundation building. The inside is cute, clean, and has a good atmosphere for a single worker or two companions, but there is highly limited space and I wouldn’t recommend coming here *expecting* to be able to find seating, especially on a weekend morning.

I had a latte and a sweet danish, and both were really delicious. The coffee drinks are simple and very well done, and all of the pastries looked wonderful.

It’s a great little place to stop and grab a drink and a snack, and the fact that your money will go back into the community elevates it.

I had the cereal milk latte. It tasted like a normal latte with fruity pebbles on it. The hazelnut latte tasted more like amaretto which was disappointing.

Relatively average coffee with an expensive tag. Other coffee shops in the area I’d visit again!

I'm torn... I want the Foundation Coffee Company to do really well without a lot of people discovering this quiet, out of the way place. Also, I love a coffee shop with a mission to help the community. Great coffee, but would you expect less from the owners of Patachou? However the stars of the menu are the biscuits and pimento cheese!

I come here every time I’m visiting Indy. The best coffee and the best customer service. Shout out to Lydia! They’re awesome!

Bright and charming local coffee shop that supports the Patachou Foundation that's fighting food insecurity in Indianapolis. They have all the coffee shop staples, plus they rotate through unique and interesting coffee and tea drinks seasonally.
We also grabbed some delicious breakfast pastries, including a brioche cinnamon roll that was absolutely incredible.

Foundation coffee shares all its benefits directly to Patachou foundation for helping children in need. That was my primary motto to visit and buy coffee and food at Foundation coffee. Ok searching online, said pets allowed with private outdoor pods and heated seating. Much to my surprise none were available yesterday and I landed with my dog. The servers arranged a heater to sit outside which was of no help in 30 degrees weather. We ordered Chocolate Cherry Cordial Lattes, apple cider cinnamon roll with buttermilk biscuits and pimento cheese. Baked goods didn’t disappoint, so did the coffee. Really good service, clean and well maintained store.
4* for the outdoor patio seating chaos. It’s not welcoming, it’s uncomfortable and really doesn’t serve the purpose in cold dreary winters. Management make note.

Service was extra friendly! I admire the creativity of the specialty drinks, but be advised some drinks (like the mojito latte) are for those with an acquired taste! Regular coffees satisfy that morning craving. Viewing the garden and chickens from the parking lot is a bonus!

Cute shop. Not enough savory items on the menu, one being toast with cheese, and I didn't think that would fill me up. I got the only other savory item on the menu, the breakfast sandwich. It was fantastic, but I'm glad I substituted sourdough bread, 'cause I can't imagine what its standard, sweet, brown sugar biscuit could have added to that perfectly seasoned sausage, runny egg, and pimento cheese. As it was, the onion jam was sweet enough. Still, it was the best breakfast sandwich I've had anywhere. The London Fog Latte was great, too, but likewise, a touch too sweet. Next time I'll ask to go light on the syrup.
