Had the granola. It was very good but I received it in a card board cup no where near full, for $6.50! Coffee was $3.50 with 1 refill. My friends had breakfast sandwiches for @$12. They were okay. The menu is limited. You order at the counter and if you charge it, the tip choices are 20, 25 or 30%! I chose custom...

This place is just absolutely stellar. We love love love going to their sister shops downtown, and we're stoked for them to be in Butler-Tarkington now, too!

Chalet's coffee menu perfectly reflects their sister shops—from the delicious house-made flavors to the quality that comes in every cup. I love when local coffee shops have their menus paired to the perfect size with the perfect balance of options, which these folks are absolutely rockstars at.

So so so glad this neighborhood—and part of town, really—has another exceptional LOCAL coffee shop to visit instead of the crummy St*rb*cks on the corner. We've been a couple of times in the first week they opened, and even though their loyal local following makes the line grow long sometimes, the Chalet team handles the rushes like absolute champs considering they're making literal high-end beverages for so many people at once and with such skill.

Love love love Chalet, and can't wait to scream about it from the rooftops.

Started coming to this place to do some work and I'm obsessed. No, they don't have WiFi, but tbh that's helped limit my distractions. I've tried four of the signature lattes and I can't pick a favorite (maybe butterscotch??), and the sausage bialy is a perfect hangover cure. The vibes are right as well, think retro modern ski chalet (but in a former fire station). The staff (especially Cecelia!) are wonderful as well. I have a new favorite Indy coffee shop!

Really solid coffee, staff, and space (4-5 star range) but not having public wifi is like not serving water. Won’t be back but wish them the best.

We enjoy supporting a local business with delicious beverages, however I’d like to suggest a changing table in your “All genders” bathroom. It’s ironic to me that you make the effort to make a statement and be inclusive, but not to families with young children.

Very friendly service! My complaint is handicapped parking which is almost nonexistent (I saw one spot). The other problem is the high top tables inside. As an older person it’s difficult to sit on high chairs. I’m happy you sell Tinker coffee, but I wish you carried more varieties.

I've tried Chalet three times now and have never had a good or welcoming or even marginally efficient experience, so I guess shame on me for going three different times. It feels like a place that's a lot more concerned with seeming cool than actually being welcoming. The first time I went, it took 15 minutes for one latte and one bagel. The second time I went, it took 45 minutes for two bialys and two lattes, and it cost close to $40 for that. Today, I didn't have the chance to actually buy anything because the staff ignored me at the front counter for so long that I decided it would be a lot less frustrating to just go literally anywhere else.

I love Chalet's coffee. After 3 weeks, they finally added a gluten free breakfast option, which was pretty good. I've been several times in the morning for a latte.
I've never had their evening service - we tried, but the server forgot about us and when we were leaving, we saw him chatting away at the counter.
I suppose if your business is jamming in the morning, you may not feel like keeping customers is a big deal.

Friendly staff and decent service. They don’t seem to have a very extensive coffee menu though. The place was pretty packed when we arrived, so we sat at an awesome wood topped bar. I ended up getting some sort of butterscotch latte. It was delicious, but it wasn’t very hot to begin with, and since it was served in a glass, it was basically cold before I got to the bottom so I didn’t even end up finishing it. Maybe it would have been better in a to go cup.
The outside seems pretty quaint. I’m not sure I would have even known it was there if I hadn’t heard about through a local eatery down the block (Byrne’s Grilled Pizza). They seem to have a nice outdoor area which will probably be nice once it gets warmer out, but I’m not sure how they’ll ultimately survive if they don’t secure a local following since Starbucks is within walking distance. I guess time will tell.

Very cool local place that's both coffee shop and bar, serving a variety of espresso drinks, specialty lattes, chais, etc. as well as local beers on tap. It has a very chic and warm interior as well as a large patio.
They serve a few baked goods as well as some breakfast sandwiches.
