This is THE place for great coffee, but they offer so much more. It's a cozy place to have lunch or dinner in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Their food menu changes periodically which is nice so you always have new and fresh options when you visit. It's a great place to study or grab a beer or wine with friends. I'd highly recommend this place. Oh by the way, don't forget to take some of their created coffee blends to go so make a cup of their rich goodness at home.

Had a super creamy brevè; delicious. Cozy atmosphere, a nice place to meet up with friends for coffee or a beer.

This is a good coffee bar - excellent proper brewed coffee - not the usual autopsy runoff that we are offered in other places. Also, a well chosen, if small range of beans for sale too. The staff are excellent and most welcoming. The place reminds me of the hip coffee bars back in the UK I would frequent to people watch and enjoy a good coffee too.. I have not tried eating there but I watched them preparing food and watched it go out to the covers and it looked good.
Altogether a gem of a coffee bar and highly recommended. I'll be back!

Our favorite go-to place for fresh roasted coffee for years. (and we even drive from Ohio to get it! We don't live in FtW) Also good wraps & sandwiches. They also offer a small selection of interesting draft beers, plus wine and other craft cocktails. Friendly staff, who we have appreciated even more during these pandemic months. They're always very willing and helpful if you prefer phoning in your order and having it brought out to the car or patio. (Thank-you "Old Crown" crew!!!) In "normal" times, inside it's nothing fancy, but just a warm relaxing sort of hippie vibe where you can enjoy a drink or some quality coffee!

I come here every so often, and I really love the atmosphere. The staff is friendly, prices are about what you'd expect from a coffee shop of this caliber, and the drinks are really good! They have cute, eclectic decorations and lovely art. I can't personally speak for the food since I've never tried it, but my friends have enjoyed it.

Old Crown has really taken coffee shop to the next level. They still roast beans the old fashion way... with a skilled tradesman master roaster at the helm! Since the move into their new building they've brought on a full bar and a great food menu to round out the offering. Great experience and even better Coffee!
Parking is tight, but that's to be expected for such a popular spot!

This is a special place and half of Fort Wayne knows it. There's no end to the stream of fascinating, sophisticated people that pass through in the course of a week. They come for the excellent coffee and bar combo in a subdued, artistic venue.
I talked to an audio artist one day and he related to me through hurt eyes how sad it was when they took the paintings down for Covid. "The walls were bare", he said.
This place has a special place in a lot of people's hearts.

Old Crown is one of Fort Wayne's almost hidden gems!
Seriously. I can't stop singing the praises of this place, starting with its quirky, creative one-off vibe.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and it's CLEAN. Did I mention they have a pinball arcade in the backroom? Yep.
They roast their own coffees, and I've become a forever fan of their 9th° of Darkness blend. Hint: It's their standard Friday brew, if you want to check it out.
The daily menu includes wraps, sandwiches and homemade soups, with occasional baked goods. Some of the ingredients are fresh from the garden out back.
But on weekends (read: TH,F,S) the chef puts out some truly unique dishes, with special apps, desserts and craft cocktails. When is the last time you had Burnt Garlic Basil Chicken or Rosemary & Garlic Braised Lamb Shank?
Speaking of cocktails, this place puts it's own spin on old standards and invents fresh offerings that use top quality ingredients like house-made ginger syrup and freshly squeezed lemon juice. My recommendations: Penicillin or the Wildest Redhead, but I'm partial to Scotch ...
And, it has a robust menu of craft brews, and even wine on tap.
Seriously, this is one of the best places I've visited - not just in Fort Wayne, but anywhere. I don't give many 5-star reviews, but Old Crown has earned it many times over.

This place has very high quality cocktails and coffee for a reasonable price, and offer food like wraps or sandwiches most of the time. On Fridays they have a full dinner menu that changes from week to week, and it's delicious. I've been super impressed with their drink selection- both the specialty cocktails they offer as well as the classics.
And that's without even mentioning the coffee. This place famously offers their own roasted coffee beans for purchase, and the selection is nothing to sneeze at. I highly recommend this place for both coffee snobs and booze snobs alike.
