I've tried breakfast joints all over the area. I keep coming back to this one. The food is good and reasonable. The wait staff is friendly and fun. They won't let you go out the door without a to go cup of coffee.
If you are looking for a cozy non pretentious breakfast place, Savannah's is it.

p.s. The best Biscuits n' Gravy in Evansville.

I know some will be like why 5 ⭐'s, like the rich and dainty! But when I walk into this place it's like walking into my Nana's dining room! (She passed in 2002.) Even though I've only been to Savannah's a handful of times it still feels like a homely place! You're welcomed and the ladies that do the waitressing are person to person! Meaning, they sense your demeanor and adjust to your wants! And for me, I treat them like they're my own, since I feel at home when I go there!! It's a great little Cafe!! And I really hope they get their big day!!

My wife and I ate lunch there today. All of the food was good. I had roast beef and my wife had fried chicken. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, service was fast, and the meal was very inexpensive. I believe we will be back.

Outstanding! PLEASE eat here, if you love delicious food (country ham on the menu!!), a down home, kitchen/living room dining environment, and extremely affordable prices! It’s my new go-to place for breakfast! See you there!

Went for breakfast. Great food at a good price. Service was great as well. Would recommend going there if you like the "mom and pop" type restaurants/diners.

I love coming here in the mornings with my husband, we generally order the same food and they're always ready for us with HOT coffee. Always recommend to friends and family, it's a quick bite and you're always surrounded by great people here. A+!

Prices are great! Over medium eggs should not have runny whites in them. The gravy is bagged gravy not homemade and the biscuits were slightly under baked and doughy not golden brown on top. The potatoes and hash browns were not browned. Edible but not great!
