Penny Lane Coffeehouse

This was my favorite coffee house while I was in my undergraduate and while driving through Evansville, I had to stop back in. I was not disappointed and was reminded of how delicious their drinks are, how cute the environment is, and how helpful the staff is. If you're in the Evansville area, you absolutely have to stop in.

I really liked this place, but over time have worked out that it really depends on who's working there on a particular morning. A couple of days ago it was great - perfect coffee served quickly with no fuss, but the last two mornings the service has been slow, and this morning the coffee was weak (which ruins a caffe au lait) and the bagel was not fresh. I would go if I knew who's day it was... Great atmosphere otherwise, but be prepared to wait (or not.)

This is my first time here. The drinks are food are very good. Good atmosphere. Seemed a little pricey, but aren't they all these days? Definitely worth trying.

The inside doesn't do service to what I was seeing on the outside. It's a great logo, good location, but it feels like there isn't a lot of effort on the inside. The floors look dirty and I got the feeling there just aren't often a lot of customers at the same time.

Great service! Awesome sandwich! I had the Dazed and Confused and a iced Voodoo Child To drink! Gotta love the names too! The band Fate Of Eternity that's playing now is AMAZING!

Never heard about the food here, just the coffee. Got one of their sammiches yesterday and it was amazing! Also had to get an iced coffee with it which was also great! Well priced and good service as well.

Great little spot in downtown Evansville. The decor is hip and funky, the ladies serving drinks were a lot of fun and very friendly and the white chocolate carmel latte was awesome! I'll be back next time I'm in town.

Indoor seating that isn't completely freezing is a mad plus (outdoor seating available w/sunbrellas for my pale people). There is so much condensed in this place, pick up some books, games, magazines, local art/events, and even a public journal. You should come in and write your chapter in.

Nice place to grab a drink or snack and chat with a friend or two. Great options for every diet. Wish this town had a place like this next to a playground so families could enjoy it as well.

Never a bad time here the taste of the food is always worth the time. Drinks choose one you will enjoy it an always smile an you will see one back.
