The Java Bean Cafe

First of all, the coffee here is great. Whether I want it dark or light or decaf, I've never been disappointed. The food, pastries, frozen drinks, and other beverages are fantastic. The prices are definitely appropriate for our small town, so I always feel like I get a good value.

I live in Bluffton and make drive to Decatur to enjoy The Java Bean! My absolute favorite place for a pick me up coffee, delicious food and a sweet treat! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Staff is so friendly and the quality is on point. It so much more than a coffee place, variety of food drinks and fun. They hold special events as well.. My favorite was the coffee and canvas ... I drive all the way from Bluffton & every time I go over there it's A great place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I always enjoy the homemade coffee cakes and the cinnamon rolls, My Carmel Mocha is always really good 😊 I also enjoy Their special drinks when it's a special month like March.

I called in an order and the guy didn’t repeat it back to me, I realized it after I had opened my order on the way home that it was the wrong item, called and they weren’t willing to remake the correct sandwich. Just said that I paid for what I ordered and that was that. Also, ingredients in one of the holiday coffees is not listed correctly on the website-when I showed the guy he said we have never made it that way and insisted I was wrong even after showing him the online order options. Very disappointed in my experience.

Good coffee with lots of flavor. Nice atmosphere in downtown Decatur. Coffee is a little pricey but that can be expected with any coffee shop. Beats Starbucks and Dunkin. Perfect coffee shop for Decatur and to sit down and relax.

I usually order a large black coffee and you can't really mess that up. However, my wife always orders "A Day At The Beach," not sure if she is trying to send me some sort of subliminal message or something..but she claims it is and I quote "The best coffee I've ever had!"

I am obsessed with their Jamaican Cold Cream! Will drive out of my way to get it!

Always a favorite local business. Good food and drinks. But service tends to be slow. So don't go if you don't have time to burn.

Pam McCullough and Laurie Kelly went to java bean Friday. The food was wonderful. It is a quiet peaceful place to eat and has a variety of coffee. Everyone was friendly even the owner. It made our visit to be a nice one.
