Java House (Midtown)

No coconut milk and cashier doesn’t know what they sell. When I ask to have chocolate they bring protein bar. Don’t recommend 👎

Wow, it's a quaint spot to hang out for a chunk of time. Relax with good company, engage in meaningful conversation and have a great cup of coffee. The regular rotation is always available plus several seasonal concoctions are on tap as well. I'm not what I would consider to be a coffee drinker but everyone in our little party of four found a warm or cold beverage they loved. They're onto something with this cold brew business. I'll go back there to meet a friend or sit with a book or computer.

One of my absolute favorite places to stop while I'm in Carmel. Everyone there is awesome. On this particular visit one of the employees made a whole hot chocolate and then realized it was for a child and remade them one special so it wasn't so hot. It's that attention to detail and dedication to doing the best, that keeps us coming back. But to them, it's just standard. Which I love!

The food there is okay but normally me and my friends just go there to hang out there's not much there to do

Awesome, fast service!! I got the Moha with a squirt of vanilla & Oh My Goodness. . . The BEST drink I’ve ever tasted. And my daughter got the In a Minute and was very happy with it . . . She Loved it!! 😋

Java House on Elm Street is the greatest coffee shop in Carmel, IN. (Possibly the world... just my personal bias) Each barista that I have encountered in my weekly routine of book-reading there has maintained the perfect balance of professionalism and heart-warming/friendly personality. I am never disappointed with the way I am treated. They remember my name and they make me feel valued as a customer. I know baristas at many coffee shops and I know that the work-day can be exhausting and the customers come in a wide variety that be demanding at times. These employees here have handled all the curve balls I've seen that have been thrown at them. They continue to make Java House an extremely comforting environment where anyone can come get some great high quality beverages and regather themselves. Way to go y'all.

If you love coffees for their aromas without the extras, this is not a place for you. At least it is not a place for me. Ordered a dark roast Sumatra and it was nothing like a dark roast, it had no aroma (a shame for a Sumatra), the flavor were muted. It was clear like the coffee you got served in a cheap restaurant 20 years ago. It is not worth the price. Difficult to understand that this place is having a business model based on making coffee.

The fall special lattes are great! Also for non coffee drinkers shaken blackberry black tea lemonade is Wonderful 😊
