So close to our destination, Berne, and our 8 yr old grandson just HAD to have a bite to eat. It was 9:15pm and everything seemed to be closed but this quaint little diner on the side of Hwy 27 in Bryant. My husband stopped, took our grandson in, and got him a grilled cheese and 'round' fries. The child ate every bite. We were so grateful for good service and good food. Our grandson said he wants to go back for breakfast because they have biscuits and gravey. A true southern boy! So, we may be back tomorrow! Be ready - 😊

One star for huge apple fritter that was delicious, hot coffee early in the morning. Otherwise, RUDE and SOUR young woman who served us couldn’t have been more un-customer service-like. We felt like we were totally bothering her. Not to mention the place is old, musty, gross ladies room.

Two daily specials were posted. We chose a breaded tenderloin sandwich & a bowl of vegetable soup and a grilled tenderloin meal w/ tater tots, salad and a choice of bread. Everything was very good and there was plenty of leftovers. There was only one waitress and it was pretty busy, but she did a good job trying to keep up.

Seemed understaffed. One watress for the whole place, cash register, orders, cleanup. Asked what i would like to drink and to take my order almost as soon as i sat down. After looking the menu over i watched her rush around for 5 to 7 minutes before she got back to me. Great job with special order. Kitchen a little slow, food great.

All you would expect from a greasy spoon! 24/7 open is the best. Meals are a little on the light side, go ahead an add a side. Grill master was very entertaining.

Jinny's is a nice quite little place. The waiter was great. After taking our order and bringing our food he left us alone to eat. He didn't keep coming by to see if we needed anything (ya know, the bothersome waiter that's vying for that big tip). The food was great and I would recommend Jinny's to everyone.

Had a western omelet, home fries, smokey links, and raisin toast. Veggies in the omelet were raw and ice cold, not grilled a bit. Home fries were not crispy, but very crunchy. (I chipped a tooth). Raisin toast was hard as a rock. I have to say the smokey links were very good though.
I really don't like to leave a bad review. For that I am sorry. This time it is warranted.

Daily specials one on the lite eater side. The other is more for the hearty eater. Great price for a home cooked quality meal. The locals gather to socialize. I'm a trucker so this was a treat. I had the stuffed sausage and sauerkraut w/ 2 sides real mashed potatoes and green beans including a roll. Excellent cheery service. I recommend getting a piece of homemade red raspberry pie. And get the cream cheese pecan to go. Oooh so good!
