Ultimately took 50 minutes to get two breakfast burritos and the staff failed to make it right at every step of the way.

-They entered the order incorrectly, even after I literally asked what went in their breakfast burritos.

-They called my name but when it was the wrong food items, they said it was someone else's food and mine should be up shortly.

-30 minutes post order they realized their mistake and sent the request to the kitchen.

-The kitchen put my order at the end of the queue.

-When I tried to speak to the staff about the issue, they simply said they were busy and ended the conversation by walking away!

Incredibly bad customer service. That was my first and last visit to Poindexter.

This is one of the best speakeasy cafes in Bloomington. Super under rated in my opinion! They have just enough food and drink items in the menu that you could go there everyday if the week and still have options left and their food and drink choices are amazing in themselves. I had the breakfast burrito and it was amazing! Try the greasy goodness of McDonald's breakfast except less grease and better ingredients. I also had the Nutella latte which is a must even if you don't like mocha (I don't). They're open 6:30-8pm right now but the lobby adjoined to the cafe stays open much longer (not sure it actually closes). They also have a grab and go food that's way better than anything on campus! I think my total came out to around 9 dollars before the tip for a full burrito (large) and small delicious latte. Service was also amazing and the baristas seem genuinely caring when asking how you like things. There's also abundant seating here! Overall 10/10

Great coffee, awesome service, beautifully decorated with walls of cookie jars, quiet, comfortable and spacious.

Part of the Graduate Hotel. Only open during the day. Great collection of cookie jars. Great food and coffee.

My favorite coffee spot in town! Staff is always super kind, accommodating, and willing to make customizations to my orders. S/O to Jake and Lexi for being the best baristas!

The decor and ambiance of the shop is so calming and it's typically quiet enough for remote working and taking calls, which totally beats working from my bedroom. I love it here - can't recommend it enough.

Fairly large, nice-looking space with lots of spots to work. The service was good, and the prices for coffee and pastries seem to be about on par with what those cost in town these days. DO NOT get their pastry, it's clearly just microwaved from frozen and is soggy junk. Don't even bother with those. Drinks are fine, nothing to write home about. I'm surprised this outlasted the Pourhouse, which had similar amounts of workspace but with actually edible pastries.

Really nice atmosphere and a great place to study, offering a good selection of coffee and tea.

The Poindexter is a lovely quiet place to grab a bite and study or have a date with a friend. The overall decor is adorable and the vintage cookie jars are so interesting to look at! I had the Butternut Cortado which was delicious. This is definitely being added to the list of date spots for Bloomington!

This place has a great atmosphere, it’s roomy and cozy. They have a good variety of sandwich and coffee preparations.
Its a great place to read or do assignments or just hang out with friends.

The coffee is AMAZING!!!! And the speedy service is Definitely a PLUS (especially because I was close to my bus departure time). Located less than 2 minute walk from Bloomington Transit... which makes it even better!
