We stopped in on a Friday evening to try the oven fired pizza. This was our first visit and when we walked in we weren’t sure what to do. Nobody said a word to us. We figured out that you’re supposed to go to the counter and order. I recommend greeting people as they come in the door with something like, “Welcome! You can place your order at the counter when you’re ready.” A couple came in after us and sat down. They too were confused about what to do. Nobody said a word to them either. They too eventually figured out it’s an “order at the counter” establishment.
They offer one size pizza, 13 inch. We didn’t think we could eat a pizza that size but ordered the Four Horsemen. The pizza was fantastic! We ate the whole thing. The crust is thin and the pizza was perfectly cooked.
We appreciated the low volume of the music in the restaurant. It’s the perfect volume for background music. You can hear it but you can also talk over it in a conversational tone.
I gave 3 stars because there’s room for improvement on the customer service side. We found the stories about the grumpy woman at the counter to be true. Now that we know you’re supposed to order at the counter we may have a better experience next time. We will definitely go back for pizza, it’s been a long time since I’ve had a pizza that good.

Sutton's Deli has been a local staple for many years. The soups are homemade and very tasty. They have unique sandwich choices, salads, and home baked desserts. The woodfired pizza on the weekends is great, and the menu choices are out of the ordinary. It's a relaxed, laid back atmosphere where locals go to enjoy.

So extremely friendly and my lord the food is so good. If you’re getting breakfast here, you’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t order some toast with a side of their homemade jelly. Will be returning as often as I can now.

Very good local deli! Our turkey sandwich was big and fresh, the house coffee was flavorful and the peanut butter cookie was yummy.

The food was alright. The rye bread is really nice and the roast beef sandwich is ok...could use some swiss and maybe a more flavorful sauce. The lemon bar was really good
Really delicious coffee, it was a shame it wasn't hot enough though. The decor beyond the brick walls barely exists. I did get my food really fast and the person who took my order seemed nice....BUT...unfortunately there must have been a cat somewhere in the restaurant because it did have the smell of cat urine...which sort of ruined the experience, but I'm used to cats...others may not be. Ether way if they can kind of make the place cleaner and get some air freshener in there, it would be a better dining experience.

I know the lunches are always great, but I just noticed they have a wood-burning oven for pizza. When I asked, they said it was for Friday and Saturday evenings so now I’m very interested to try a pizza too.
PS-Their ongoing renovations are making progress and look good.

Decent flavor with portions large enough to leave a small child unsatisfied. I had to order a second sandwich and I'm still hungry. Photo is from the roast beef sandwich -- and I don't have particularly large hands! They charge ~$7 for that thing.
Good ambiance though.

It was great the coffee was delicious and I do not like coffee that much but they do not serve pancakes 🥞 that was the only downside overall great experience and place is cute. Highly recommended.
