I loved the matcha! They do blended matcha here and had a lavender vanilla syrup.

Cozy and unique, with a boutique of fair trade goods made by female artisans. The toffee nut latte with almond milk gets 5 stars! Great place to meet up or getaway to study.

Good place, good coffee and atmosphere. Prices not good, but this is the price you pay. Gifts shop.

Great place for coffee and studying. Lots of nooks and crannies. Lots more room than the other places in Wheaton. Coffee is ok and they do have small bites if you’re hungry. It’s also a place that gives back to the community. Overall this is my go to place in Wheaton to study or meet with people. I’m here at least once a week.

Great local coffee place with fun and innovative drinks, tasty food and a good cause. Nice vibe to hang out in too. Not a huge space so can get busy.

It's an amazing place with super amiable staff! This place is a must visit for cafe lovers. If you go there you'll not just taste great coffee and homestyle food, additionally you will be automatically providing your share of support towards the upliftment of the oppressed and troubled women. Their lavender vanilla latte is something to die for!

I came in on the 15th of this month. It was cold. Very, very cold. Mostly due to the wind, but it was cold outside none-the-less. I was waiting for a couple of my friends to arrive. I had nowhere else to sit inside. Starbucks was full and so was Five and Hoek Coffee. My Half of the Sky was my only option. It was approximately 4:35 pm or 4:40 pm when I decided to sit inside. As quickly as I came in, I was asked to leave if I was not going to purchase any food or drink, and I was told that I was not aloud to bring in competitive water. I tried to get in touch a day later with a manager via email, to express my concern, but I was never able to get a response back. From now on, I am boycotting this tea shop. I did, in fact, try the tea shop a month ago. Not bad, I was going to give the tea shop a 2nd chance at a later date in time, but that opportunity was thrown out the door quicker than I imagined.
