The guy at the window was very nice and the summer sunrise drink with boba added was sooo good!

my family has been coming here since they opened. it started off just being a "let's try something new" thing, and it has now become a part of our everyday morning routine. it's perfect because there truly is something for everyone! I'm not a huge coffee person, but I have tried their What The Cup (hot coffee) as well as their frozen lattes and wow! soooo good! my family is IN LOVE with their Lotus (natural energy) Energy Drinks. they just expanded their menu so there are a lot of flavor options. our goal is to try them all! so far, we have NEVER been disappointed. honestly, it's like every one we try is better than the last! I highly recommend adding the super cream to your lotus drink, it really brings out the flavor! they also have Boba Pearls that you can add to your drink, my kids go crazy for the Boba 😂 to quote my kids "this is the best drink I've ever had" and "10 out of 10". not only are the products amazing, but the owners are extremely nice and they truly seem to care about their customers. I could go on and on for days about this place, but my best advice is to just try it for yourself. you won't regret it!!

I will be back! I got a Carmel frozen latte and a muffin, both delicious. My favorite part, wasn't the drink or the food but the service. I will continue supporting this place because not only is it veteran owned, but the customer service is top notch!

Friendly staff, fast service, fabulous smoothie and coffee!

We got the lotus drinks - an orange dreamsicle, blue razz, and one other that was red in color. They were all pretty average or subpar. The red one was extremely bland - no flavor at all. Three of us who all get these drinks regularly from various places, didn't want but more than a quick taste and then pitched the rest. The orange dreamsicle was not very orangy or dreamsicle flavored, only a slight hint - we didn't finish it. The blue razz one was OK, probably the best of the bunch, but still tasted more kiddy snow cone than adult lotus drink.

This place has a lot of potential, and as locals, we want it to do well, but they really need to bring real, fresh flavors, and better flavors, at least to the lotus drink menu, very quickly or they will miss their chance. A great example this place could take cues from, is Carter's Coffee Bar in Quincy, Illinois. The lotus energy drinks there are a few notches above for the same or similar price. The ones from Carter's also have a little bit of fizz in them (like a lightly fizz pop rocks feel) whereas What The Cup drinks were not fizzy at all, they were flat.

Although not in the same market, the owners would be well served to make an IMMEDIATE trip to Quincy to sample all of their lotus drinks and take good notes.

Based on this, we will not be ordering the lotus drinks again - and we were very much looking forward to it. We would try again if we knew there were some decent quality upgrades to the lotus drink menu, like Carter's. the lotus drinks at What The Cup missed the mark for us.

The only local place I've found that has Lotus Energy drinks! My favorite is Twilight.

Really nice new local shop! Tried both the coffee and a smoothie on different visits and both were delicious. Friendly service and nice environment. Will definitely be back!

Awesome coffee shop and veteran owned and operated. Micha frappe was very good and owner is nice and friendly! Definitely recommend to any coffee drinker!
