What The Cup

Stopped by for the first time today, and wow am I glad I did! The coffee is amazing!! Plus it’s one of the few places around here that still carries lavender syrup. The lady at the window was super helpful and even gave me 10% off my next cup because it was my first time. I’ll definitely be back soon. Thanks what the cup for making my day! (:

What The Cup is amazing! I stop through there almost every morning on my way to work. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and will treat you like family. I am hooked on their Racing Fuel blend, which is hands-down the best brewed coffee you can get in the area. Their loyalty program is extremely generous. All of this keeps us coming back!

I went for my first time over the weekend! The people working were super nice! I had never been before and found them because I work at Truck Centers at the truck stop in Troy and I wanted something besides Dunkin. I saw on the reviews that people said they were walking up... it is most DEFINITELY a drive threw LOL. I was standing there and two cars were waiting behind me. It was embarrassing LOL. I got a toasted marshmallow latte and it is definitely on the sweeter side so the next time I go, I will maybe ask for a pump less or something. I get coffees on Fridays and I already know what I am wanting to try the next time! They also have a punch card and gave me a 10% off my next visit since it was my first time. I will most definitely be back! Follow them on Facebook/Instagram for specials! I saw their car with their logo so I am unsure if they cater/deliver or if it was just advertisement but the ladies at my work would definitely pitch in on a group order if they delivered. Just throwing that out there! :)

Every time I come by on my way home from work, the customer service is amazing and the drinks are so good too! My favorite is the peach strawberry lotus drink :) The guy at the window is always so nice too!

Such a great veteran owned business! Had a large delivery order for the office, over 20 drinks, and they were so accommodating and friendly! They arrived quickly (IN THE RAIN) and everyone got the correct drinks and they were so GOOD! Thanks to Jason and his family for your service!!!

This drive thru coffee shop has amazing coffee and lotus energy drinks. Also the customer service is top notch and very friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!

The owners and employees are super friendly! I have never gotten a drink I didn’t like. They recently just expanded their lotus menu and I have LOVED every lotus drink I have received. The smoothies are also top notch as well especially the new Chocolate Strawberry. I love supporting local and even better a Veteran owned business! And I highly recommend you check this awesome place out you won’t want to miss out.

Just tried this shop today. I'm a daily Starbucks customer so I drink a lot of coffee. This shop is closer to my house and it's local so we thought we'd try it out.

I got a large cold brew and my daughter ordered a strawberry banana smoothie. Everything was great. Prices were normal, service was excellent. This little shop has a lot of potential. I wish it were in a better spot. I feel like this is their only downfall. It's not a bad spot for me personally but I'm not sure they are getting all the traffic they should get. Maybe a sign on 55/70 would help with more traffic. So one bit of advice would be more or better signage.

The only other thing I would add, it would be wonderful if they added quiche to their menu. There is a coffee shop in Wood River (Russells) that sells the BEST quiche. It's a quick breakfast to pick up on the go. I think this would be a great thing to add to their menu.

My husband and I stopped in Troy, IL on a road trip from Oklahoma to Virginia. Being the coffee snobs that we are, before starting the second leg of the trip, we conducted a search for nearby coffee shops - not a chain. Surprise! This little place was about 5 minutes from our hotel. He had a S'mores (iced) and I had a Turtle (hot). Both were delicious. The owners were working; they were very friendly. Highly recommend!

I heard about this family-owned business that opened up in Troy, IL and I wanted to check it out. I am so glad I did. The staff there were very friendly and courtesy. I order the chocolate banana smoothie, Biscotti and I had to try the Cake Pops. I can tell you everything I order was delicious. I recommend everyone to go to What the Cup and give them a try. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Owners and staff I would like to say thank you for the great service and keep up the good work. I am one satisfied customer and will definitely be back for more.
