Brunchfield Cafe

Ordered the Gumbo it was tasty but lukewarm.

This place used to be Nico’s, which was a favorite of mine, and it is now rebranded, and the atmosphere is similar which I really enjoy. Most of the food options are unique, with twists, and they are very good to round it off. Also got to meet the owner, who was very nice.

Good food in a clean, bright, friendly atmosphere. Different or traditional items on the menu. Lunch and desserts look very good and look forward to trying them on my next visit. Breakfast this morning was very good and reasonably priced.

Everything that I've ordered has been delicious for breakfast and lunch. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. They deserve 5 stars!!

What a fantastic spot for brunch! Great food and very nice staff. There is a bit of a wait at times but very worth it.

Great food for the price and excellent service. Owners come by every time and speak with the patrons.

Atmosphere: Small diner that is clean and updated. Service staff in clean, profession attire. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. could not ask for more.

Food: I got Gumbo on recommendation from the server and Taking It Cheesy sandwich. OMG. That gumbo can complete with almost any NOLA gumbo I've eaten. Spot ON! Taking it cheesy was wonderfully executed grilled cheese. perfect cheese, bread and toppings. Toppings? Yes, toppings. I has carmelized onion and fresh tomato. Onions are sweet and the tomato gives it a fresh acid hit to cut through the richness. Wifey got a Muffalotta (spelling) sandwich. Hot deli sandwich with an olive relish. Warm, melty, meaty and briney. Nom Nom Nom. She almost didn't let me take a bite. Allso got some bread pudding ... It was okay. But it was to go, so... I'll have to try it again gresh. Darn it....

The food was great the service was god and very attentive. I recommend the Gumbo it was awesome with a little kick of spice not overpowering.

I look forward to going back there was a lot on the menu that i want to try.

Was in Springfield visiting a friend and we grabbed a Sunday morning breakfast at Brunchfield on 8/22/21. This was the first time either of us had been there. Both of us enjoyed our food, the service was great, nice atmosphere, and the restaurant was very clean.

We were seated immediately but that is as far as it goes. Staff never acknowledged us past that. We sat for 20 minutes and couldn't even place a drink order. 4 tables who were seated after us were helped immediately. Everytime we tried to get someone's attention they just kept walking.
