Excellent service. Ella was so helpful and pleasant. Very interesting breakgast menu with flexible options. Food was fresh and coffee flavorful. We appreciated the entrance signs requiring masks and staff and cooks wore them, which we feel is important. Most customers complied, some did not. We'd like to try lunch next!

Nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. Date ordered the Italian shoe, I had a bowl of gumbo. The Italian shoe was not to my friends liking, nothing wrong with it, all ingredients were cooked correctly, but the combination was a bit odd, he had read the description on the menu, he thought he would like it, but stated he would order something different next time, but he ate it all. The gumbo was fine, plenty of seafood in it for sure, came with a warm piece of bread, would have preferred a piece of crusty garlic bread with gumbo, but it was fine. Our server was attentive, as was the manager(?). Reasonably-priced, service just a tad slow BUT there were several large tables so that is understandable. We will go back, I'm anxious to try the muffalatte and Cubano sandwiches and the chocolate, bourbon bread pudding with warm rum sauce.

Nice little place, very busy at lunch. The gumbo was great

Great burgers, and of course, the legendary Gumbo Ya Yas gumbo.

First time there but already looking forward to a return. Great menu for both breakfast and lunch. We had omelets and of course wanted to try the gumbo. ALL was wonderful……….tasty and good value too! Saw French toast at another table and that’s on our list to try!

My server was very gracious and hard working. I got the biscuits and gravy with hash browns
The potatoes were cooked to perfection, the biscuits were light and fluffy. The gravy had a tad more pepper than I care for, but it was smooth and I ate a good portion of it too.

I had the tuna deli sandwich with potato salad. My wife had grilled cheese with a side salad. Both were very good as was the service. We plan to return for breakfast. Returned twice for breakfast because the pancakes are the best in Springfield, and my wife loves the pumpkin spice waffle.

Don't have much good to say about this place. Pancakes tasted like other things that had been made on the griddle. The eggs and link sausages were greasy. They charge almost $3 for two pieces of toast! Overpriced and not worth the price. You can get the same thing at Ritz's for half the price or less and it tastes better. So almost $33 for 2 pieces of toast, 3 sausage links, 3 pancakes, a few red potatoes pieces, and 4 pieces of bacon...I do not suggest this place to anyone for anything. Won't ever go there again...

The restaurant was clean, staff was courteous with great tasting food and large portions. The head chef came out for our friends 10 year old son and provided him extra M&M's as a very kind gesture. I would recommend to anyone in the area.
