Velvet Robot Coffee Lab

Such a neat concept! Visiting from Portland, OR. and was happy to run into an independent coffee shop in Rockford! Quite a fun spot!

Velvet Robot is a great place for a date, to hang out or eat/drink some quality food. Their coffee some of the best I’ve had in a long time. To top it off their customer service is 5-star. The staff is both friendly and committed to giving the best possible experience whenever I go there. I love this place and would highly recommend it!!!

The Cold Brew Coffee was a delicious start to my day. This location has Arcade 1up machines for various games including "Street Fighter" series. Old skateboard decks and street art adorn the walls. Very cool vibes, now if only I had friends to hang out here 🙂

If you want to try a different spin on a coffee shop pretty wacky and wild with great service and selections not your norm but really tasty I tried the honey lavender coffee really yummy the matcha tea is tasty and Bagel breakfast sandwich was very good. Looks like a fun place to hang out with friends

How did I not know about this place until now??? So we ventured out to explore and I was so very impressed with this place!!! The food is SOOOOO yummy, clean eating and healthy!! The drinks are delicious...I will definitely be back over and over. The video games are free to play, board games, ping pong, perfect for a rainy day!!! Or to just sit and chill.

Very much like its older sibling on Madison downtown, great food, amazing and very unique coffee. Only difference is more space but with a similar eclectic vibe and I don't have to worry about getting a ticket because I parked in the wrong spot. 🤑

The new place is awesome. The staff is friendly, and the coffee is excellent. Feeling hungry? Try the stab. The space is great for a get together as well as studying or simply playing a board game. Try out a game of ping pong while you are there, or check out the great art works.

VR's cold brew is super well balanced! It has enough flavor and strength to stand on its own, and also blends well with any flavor! Breakfast bagels are incredible also! Highly recommend checking them out! Tell Justin Jared says hi.

Coffee was ok. Menu on desk needed adjusting. I'd go somewhere else next time.
