Meg's Daily Grind

My first visit to Meg's Daily Grind on Alpine St this morning, August 29, 2016 @ 8:35am, was NOT the way to start a Monday morning. The gal at the other end of the speaker made me repeat my entire order twice and was rude, the prices were also higher than Starbucks, where I always go, but closed due to renovations today. I ordered a mega Chai Tea iced latte w/ 4 xtra shots of espresso and a small Iced Vanilla latte w/ 1 xtra shot of espresso, after paying almost $13.00, I received the Chai iced tea which looked ok and then my iced vanilla latte, which was a joke. It was LITERALLY water and vanilla syrup. It was so disgusting that after one tiny sip it went into the trash. Where's the coffee and the xtra espresso shot I paid for?!? I personally was very dissatisfied and will NEVER spend another cent at that establishment. I guess Starbucks and Rockford Roasting Company will get all my hard earned money.

Love the coffee here, it's a great spot to stop for a cup (or some grounds!). All local beans and the drinks are really creative, love it here

got there about one, it wasn't busy. the staff was very welcoming and observant. bring your appetite because portions are generous. food is like a restaurant in louisville i loved.

Coffee is alright. It is a fairly quiet place. There are not a lot of outlets to plug in a chargers and those that are around seem to only be next to a large table and a few high tops.

I will definitely go back! I can get ice coffee in sooo many different flavors, and it's tough to choose.

Excellent service and coffee. Such a cozy place to catch up with friends, go on a date, or even have time to yourself. Quiet and peaceful.

Coffee is good. Might want to update your hours. Says you're open until 9 on google and your front door but just got kicked out at 8.

Great coffee! It has a very warm and cozy vibe. Good place to get some work done, or relax with a book.

Good coffee and a very friendly staff. If your looking for a local coffee house this is the place to go. It beats Starbucks by far.

Great friendly service. No environment. Delicious drink. It was the latte of the week......french toast..... I couldn't pass it up. I wasn't let down.
