Thyme Square Bakery & Cafe

One of the best places in town. Amazing locally sourced ingredients, fresh hand made bread, wonderful service and a great location down town. What's more to love? Whole menu for breakfast and lunch is a knockout. Only downside is they aren't open all day!

We had a reservation for 18. The tables were already set so that was excellent as they were packed. We ordered various entrees, everything was good but the hands down favorite is the french toast!!! Service was great.

I had been a 5 star reviewer, and while the food is still excellent the service has declined substantially. Today for our anniversary lunch, I ordered coffee and was not offered cream or sugar, ordered a dessert with ice cream and got whipped cream instead, and got the wrong check twice.

Fantastic service, excellent food, and pleasant dining atmosphere. They have some of the best service I have ever had at a restaurant and some of the best food in the area. It is obvious that they take great pride in what they do and that is hard to find these days. A+

The food was very good but the service was poor. We waited 20 minutes for a cup of coffee and finally got some by asking another waitress for it. I asked for salt and never did get it. I understand those times when it is busy but it wasn't that busy on the day we came to eat there. We won't go back.

If you LOVE Biscuits and Gravy like I LOVE Biscuits and Gravy than you HAVE TO TRY them at Thyme Square Cafe! OMGOSH! They were TREMENDOUS. I think the secret was in he added just a bit of onion, but WHATEVER the chef did, it was beyond CRAZY GOOD! Seriously. I mean, what can you do to improve biscuits and gravy, right? And I thought I was the master! Well, I'm going to perfect it, but until I do, I know where I'm going to get my fix! Wonderful service, wonderful atmosphere there on the corner! I'm not much of a "city" person, but it was EASY to get into, easy parking, I didn't feel rushed but was served fast, left alone JUST enough yet served when needed. Awesome experience! Oh yeah! The special coffees are INCREDIBLE TOO! I was ready for a day of REHAB SHOPPING AT BAYVIEW after that!!!!

One of Quincy's best! A MUST visit for guests and locals. Food is alway top notch, service is friendly and the ambiance is perfect. If you want a true "Quincy experience", eat here!!!
