Full order of biscuits & gravy was my choice today, because I know it's the best in town. This was my first visit since it was remodeled, and it's really much nicer now. The staff was nice and the meal was great.
I just moved back here, and I'll be coming much more often to the Coffee Cup from now on.

We used to love coming here, we really love the food, but we are completely disappointed by the fact that when we came in to eat today, we sat for over 10 minutes, and nobody came to bring us menus or ask if we wanted drinks. People who came in after us got served, sitting right near us, and the waitress passed by us 4-5 different times. She even looked right at me each of those times and just kept going.
This place was a favorite, but we are so disappointed in this experience. We ended up leaving because waiting over 10 minutes with 2 hungry kids was unacceptable. We went else where for our meal.
And it wasnt even a busy time.

The place is very warm welcoming. The food is outstanding and the service is great. The prices on somethings are a bit much but over all it's great.

My girlfriend and I had the best diner experience ever. Traveling back to Chicago from Iowa we wanted something quick to eat but after seeing this local family diner we gambled and stopped on in.

The waitress provided the best service I've had in recent memory. She was spot on when it came to coffee refills. She suggested a different chicken dish to my gf that she loved.

We will be stopping by after our next trip back to Iowa.

The food was ok, but not exactly as advertised. One plate was supposed to be ham and scalloped potatoes, but was actually Ham and potatoes au gratin. Another was supposed to be an Italian beef, when it was really a French dip. But the worst part was the waitress; suffice to say I left less than a dollar and gave the rest to another who rescued us when our waitress left us high and dry. Too bad, usually a great place to eat.

Stopped here on a whim on our way to Chicago, I do not like to eat fast food when I am road tripping. This place serves breakfast all day, and would say it is a pretty solid dinner. The decor is a blend of country and modern and looks like it was recently remodeled.

The servicer was pleasent and the food came out fast. We had the country fried steak and eggs and the blueberry waffle. Both were really good and would definitely recommend both. I will have to remember this place next time I am coming through.

Keep in mind this place doesn't accept credit cards, cash or check only, but there is an atm .

The food is amazing here! The staff however, not quite. I've only gotten ONE waitress that has been kind to us. Otherwise I don't feel very welcome. But who cares, the food is AMAZING!

Bad customer service barely any questions about our food or if we wanted a refill on our sodas. They never even came to get the check
Food was good tho

Nice looking place, clean dining room. Very disappointed, no egg substitute. Chef can't separate an egg. So opted for order of pancakes.... not cooked thoroughly. Won't make the effort to go back.

It's got the best breakfast in town, especially the biscuits and gravy. If you're from out of town, don't be surprised that they only take cash. If you don't want to pay the ATM fee, go to Walmart and buy a pack of gum and get cash back with you're debit card. We are a small town, that's how we roll. The remodeling that was done over the past year is awesome.
