Found this by accident looking for breakfast while traveling. It was a good find. Great breakfast. Best biscuits. Omelets are great too. Service was good and fast. Thank you.

This place feels like home. Excellent food and such friendly service. They remember your name here! Their was a member of the Stl. Cardinals that came to eat here. That's gotta tell ya something!!! Very clean bathrooms and kid friendly!!! Fair prices and don't forget to leave room for dessert... their pie is the BOMB!!!!!!

I was disappointed with the food at The Bonnie Cafe this time. I had went there previously and it was good. I had the buffet and the dumplings were the frozen ones with very little chicken in them for flavor, the lettuce was from a bag and the tomatoes still had the core from the stem. I have done salad prep in a restaurant and the whole top and bottom is disposed of always in my opinion. I am all for forgiveness and second chances but I am unsure if I will return

Local eatery with buffet option. We will order from the menu next time..

I always order my lunch to go and the food is always fresh and HOT. I've had to wait on my fries to cool before eating a few times. And it's delicious every time! It's one of my favorites spots for lunch and I can't wait to have time one day to try the buffet.

It was very busy. Food was good. Waitress could have been friendlier, I think she was just so busy she was in a hurry to get my order, no pleasantries like "what can I get you"? It was "what do you want"? No smiling or friendliness. She looked mad untill the customers started leaving. I did see the ruff edges of her cold personality start to fade. My mom always told me not to judge a book by their cover. I don't know what was going on in her life, so I gave her the benefit of a doubt. I always leave a tip because waitresses are required to make tips just to get minimum wage. And because this might have been a bad day for her I gave her a 150% tip wasn't as much as it sounds). Hopefully the kindness made her day. Be kind is my motto!

We were a party of 8 half the party was able to sit and eat. Other half had to wait for plates to be restocked on buffet. When made one of the waitresses aware of the problem she slammed dirty dishes on a table and stomped off and we then returned to table and waited 9.5 minutes for plates. She was also just very rude in general to other customers as well. Food was great but overall just tense atmosphere and bad customer service. Most likely will not be back

Food was pretty good. Had a chef salad and was able to share it and it was fairly reasonable. Wait staff was friendly and helpful.

We pulled off the highway looking for a local diner instead of fast food and found this place. The buffet looked great with lots of choices but it was pricey for lunch so we ordered off the menu. My husband got a burger that was obviously hand made, not a frozen patty and it was large! He loved it. I got a BLT that was stuffed with bacon. The straight fries were delicious. Service outstanding. And..bonus, got a 10% veterans discount! I recommend this place!

Such a delightful experience! Real down home tasty food at excellent prices but.. the service was amazing! You feel like part of the community and they treat you like family. I swear the food is always better when you feel like you belong. Great job, Bonnie Cafe! P.s. the frog legs are tender and the ribs fell off the bone.
