The nicest staff on earth. Had avocado toast, which they add cheese to and is so creamy and the flavor explodes in your mouth. Had a lavender latte, as good as other gourmet coffee. It was packed to the rim with people. Definitely a place that attracts people on their laptops. Family friendly too. Will go back to try the chai they make from scratch! Smelled so good!

We left a different coffee shop to come here and I am so glad we did! The food is hearty and wholesome. The beverages are made with care and taste great. This place isn't cheap but you get what you pay for. Such a cool place, can't wait to come back the next time we visit Downtown Naperville.

Good coffee and fast service. The coffee is a little pricey ($4 for a tiny cappuccino) but well worth it for the quality of coffee. I ordered a tofu bahn mi for $9 that was flavorful and stuffed. Has a modern ambiance while still having the classic coffee shop feel. A good place for lunch or a chat; my only complaint is that the music is a little loud so bring headphones if you want to read or study. Overall pretty darn good.

I will never go to Starbucks again! This place was pure bliss. Coffee is a million times better than other corporate coffee. Atmosphere is pleasantly lacking the uppity/“too busy to be nice” people. I was able to take my time while ordering and felt able to ask questions (the woman at the counter was very helpful!) I was also able to find a comfy corner to work for a few hours. My only gripe was the small choice of seats and tables. Turns out I was lucky to find the seat I did. Still, the coffee and atmosphere trump all. Thank you Sparrow.

Went here for the first time unexpectedly for an impromptu lunch. I got an almond milk salted caramel latte and a pb&j. I was so impressed with the contemporary ambiance and vibe. Right in the heart of downtown near the river walk is the perfect location. The staff was friendly and quick to dish out the yummy treats. I cannot wait to go back here.

Lots to say here. First, the cafe is not IN the hotel, as reported by Google, but it is adjacent to it. The tofu banh mi was tasty, but I find it (and the other non-bakery foods) overpriced. Bakery items were varied and fresh. I've been here three times while in from out of town, with two of those visits being during weekend peak hours. Seating is far too limited for a space of this size. It was also so loud in there that I cannot imagine try to work or have a conversation. Actually, I struggled so much to hear my name being called that the person behind the counter looked at me as if I am absent-minded. It was uncomfortable to try to stay out of the way but within earshot. Friendly staff, though, honest. They need (tactful) sound diffusers.

That said, the coffee is truly a delight. There is a coffee chain a few blocks away, and I can only imagine those who choose to go there when Sparrow is so close just don't exercise self-love. The menu is minimal, but the coffee is incredibly good.

Great vibe, very busy, but fast service. Absolutely FANTASTIC coffees
Imho, not expensive like some other reviews have said - this is just what good coffee costs everywhere these days.
Cool place, also great spot to sit and work

Spacious and bright coffee shop, the waffle is sooooo good! Baked with some sugar crystals (altho not super sweet), and the dough tasted a bit like sourdough, was quite unique. came here to work for an afternoon. Only complaint is music was a bit loud and temp was slightly on chilly side for a spring day to be 100% comfy for working from the coffee shop

Sparrow has become my favorite local coffee shop. Their espresso is the best I’ve ever had and pairs well in a latte. Very strong nutty fruity flavor and smooth but not overpowering or burnt tasting. The atmosphere is super welcoming and a great place to get work done. I stop by all the time in the afternoons. The staff is super welcoming and loves getting to know their customers. Really grateful for this amazing coffee shop.
