The owner is awesome! He pulls bomb shots of espresso. I always get a dirty chai ice latte and he always makes it on point. It's not watered down at all either! Perfectly iced. Better than Hansa, and Something's Brewing. Everytime I'm in Mundelein I'll stop in. I highly recommend this place to anyone who's a coffee drinker.

Great coffee and treats. There's always a weird smell when you first walk in, sometimes like a thrift store, sometimes spicy food, but it always disappears within a minute, even if you think about it later. I wish they were open later. I usually want to visit their location when they're closed.

Area General is our go-to for coffee! Each drink is handcrafted with love and care that blankets the pallet with every comforting sip. The ButterBeer Latte is my favorite flavor combo but I cant resit trying new flavors and specials! The shelves are loaded with artisan goods including jewelry, essential oils, snacks, and candles which are fun to browse while waiting for your coffee to be crafted. Thanks for bringing great coffee to Mundelein!

Deceptive name, fantastic coffee. Easily the best coffee in Mundelein. Trust me, I've tried them all. It's a small mom and pop coffee place with a comfortable and cozy atmosphere, really friendly people, and the best, freshest coffee in Mundelein. I'm never going to Dunkin or Starbucks again when in Mundelein.
