Milk and Honey Coffee House

Super cute little local coffee shop. Has a great menu with lots of choices including coffee, tea, frappes, and smoothies. Also has some great bakery items from the local pumpkin patch. Staff was very kind and offers great suggestions of drinks and bakery items. The cafe is small with limited seating but is great for a quiet place to work on things or to read. The decor is adorable and there is a little shop inside as well. Definitely recommend. My drink which is a white chocolate and cookie dough latte was delicious and I also had their pumpkin chocolate chip muffin which was so good!

Don't walk. Run to this place! I almost went to the Starbucks off the highway to save time. I am so glad I didn't! I got a witches brew cold brew, a cappuccino and took s chance on a chocolate chip pumpkin muffin. Both coffees were delicious but the muffin was incredible. I can't commit to stopping every time I drive by Matoon, but I'm going to want to.

A friend and I come her weekly try to multiple times a week. The product is top of the line and although I love my Starbucks this puts them second in line (Starbucks) that is. The prices are great and the girls make the drinks even more better with thier bright smiling face every morning. The Christian base small business is where it's at .

Cute little coffee shop with a decent selection of drinks. Super small set up and can get cramped easily. Staff were friendly and the decorations were cute.

I’ve been to this cute, small town coffee shop a few times now. I love it! I get their lotus energy drinks and I enjoy getting to customize my drink each time. Every employee I have interacted with has been warm and welcoming which is great when you’re stopping for a pick-me-up on a rough day. My mom and best friend have also visited this coffee shop and they loved their coffees!

Not a complaint but a critique
I came here multiple times to get a good idea of the place and each time the coffee flavor is not strong and the drinks ordered as is run very sweet. I’m not sure if the shots being pulled those days were by someone new in training but I’d say just focus on getting some stronger coffee in the lattes and either letting people know when they order that the drinks run very sweet or just add less pumps in general unless a person asks for more. Hope this is helpful!

10/10 would recommend Milk & Honey Coffee House to all who ask! This is the #1 coffee house and espresso bar in Mattoon. They have great coffee + pastry, gifts, free books, delivery, a space for meeting & littles, plus a space for peaceful study. The outdoor seating is perfect for dog-walkers and reading on sunny days. All of this, AND their espresso is seriously prime. Friendly and experienced baristas will make you just the thing you want! If you would rather support a small local business, then let this be the place you choose while in Mattoon.

Delicious pumpkin chocolate chip muffin, and two lattes were really tasty. We will definitely be back. Appreciated the fact they had several sugar free options available!

Yes I love this place.Would recommend. But very tiny inside, if you are really claustrophobic go to the drive through! And the workers there were also awesome! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
