This place is outstanding! We had 4 different appetizers, 2 cocktails, and two desserts & everything was delicious! The restaurant was clean, quaint, and the service was top notch. Our server, Rachel, was so sweet & friendly & was very knowledgeable about the menu. We will not hesitate to make the drive back again... and again! And hopefully Rachel will be our server again!!

Omg this place is great! We just went to Coco's for dinner this past weekend. It has a an upscale yet rustic atmosphere. You can either sit in the main room with live music or in the barn which is quieter. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I ordered the pretzel ball with cheese sauce for an appetizer, and quiche for my entree. Everyone else ordered the beef Manhattan which they raved about. For dessert I got the white peppermint cake which was amazing. I also tried both the white wedding cake and the chocolate peanut butter cake which were fabulous as well. This restaurant is a wonderful asset to Lawrence County!

My husband and I visited on a Friday afternoon, about 4 pm. We walked in and it took a minute or so for us to even be acknowledged. We were then asked if we had a reservation. Didnt realize we would need one that early. (Mind you, only 1 of 4 outside tables in use, and maybe 3 inside tables in use) He then asked another person, right in front of us, if there was anywhere for us. She showed him two places. He then proceeded to sit us at a small table, tucked between the kitchen door and the hallway to the bathrooms. Really??? We walked out. The food is not labor intensive enough that they could not have seated us at a regular table, and served us, with enough time to still get it ready for a 5 or 5:30 pm reservation. We will not attempt to even try to go back, reservation or not. Very disappointed in the pretentious behavior of the staff.

I will never patronize this restaurant again. After making reservations about two weeks ago, explaining that we were going to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary the night of November 26, when we arrived dressed formally, the Hostess tried to seat us in the bar. They ruined and spoiled what would have been a wonderful dinner and evening. John Fish

Coco's was recommended to my wife by a co-worker. Went there this evening and were very impressed by the entire experience. Upon entering the place, the decor is interesting and the ambiance relaxed. Drinks and appetizers were very good. Wife got the beef Wellington and I got the prime rib. Both were perfectly cooked, artfully presented and delicious. We were both quite full by this point but neither of us are able to pass up an interesting dessert menu. We decided on the chocolate Kahlua cake. Heavenly. Quite possibly the best chocolate cake I've ever had. It turns out that Sydney, our very friendly and helpful waitress for this wonderful meal is also the baker. She then offered, and excitedly gave, us a tour of the new bakery they are installing upstairs. Can't wait to return and taste more of the menu and especially Sydney's creations. Thanks to all at Coco's.

Staff was great but the owner was very rude, we went there for a friends birthday and she was very rude to us, we took cupcakes not knowing it wasn’t allowed. She took them away from us rudely , if she would of explained nicely it would of been different,

We were so very impressed with our first visit. The staff were friendly and professional and service was excellent. The food was outstanding. The live music was simply the best you will find any where in the zip code. The decor and furnishings were new and top class. We'll be back for sure. Be sure to make reservations or you won't get seated. This place is popular.

We love this place. The food is always very good. The desserts are amazing. And the staff is always wonderful. It's a surprising atmosphere tucked away on a side street of this small Illinois town.

It had to be the owners that did the previous reviews because this place is just awful! Others sitting around us seemed to agree. The beef Manhattan was cold through and through. My daughter's margarita came garnished with a very rotten lemon slice wrapped in a hair. The food was the worst food I've had in years!
Maybe the owners need to work on having edible food instead of trying to have an upscale restaurant in Lawrenceville, Illinois.
