Stompin' Grounds Cafe

Just stopped for a coffee--very good! Nice location, across from the lake. Everyone was friendly, seemed a little pricey, but so are the national chains, clean. I did not order any food. Will return.

Me and my wife ordered two sandwiches. The store was busy and her sandwich came within a respectable time. We waited some time and then inquired about mine to the barista. He checked on it and said they are starting to work on it. Long after my wife was done eating the girl from the kitchen brought mine. I inquired what took so long and she said the Barista had given mine to another customer and scooted off. No apologies. After biting into the sandwich I determined it was not what I had ordered but probably what the other person ordered. By that time my wife was ready to go so I just ate what was planted IN front of me. On the way out I told the Barista and the cashier what had happened. The response was oh. Not apologies. The Barista seemed overwhelmed with all the orders and not very friendly. I told him that I was not happy and would be telling my experience on Yelp or any other online venues. Once again no response. On the positive side even though the sandwich was not made to my order it was good.

I got the best vanilla latte ever. I wish everybody made it like you do! It was so delish!!!!

So much better than Starbucks! Nice place and friendly staff. Only thing missing is a drive through.

Great addition to Lake Zurich’s downtown. Coffee shop has an amazing atmosphere with friendly staff. Love the additional items being sold on the shop. Definitely recommend

Just went there for the first time and really liked everything about it. I had a mocha latte and a scone and both were much better than the ones at the big chain coffee place. The staff is very nice and they go out of their way to make you comfortable in their cafe. They even sell wine and cider. A happy place to start the day.

best coffee place in Lake Zurich , i say stick to Local Busissnes forget starbucks ;-) , BTW Almond Croissants a MUST Try !!!

They have the best pastries! Took a variety box to welcome my daughter and family back from their Mexico trip. The donut, chocolate and almond croissants, and especially the apple fritter were all so light and delicious ! ! I'll be back soon!

Good drinks & baked items however a bit expensive more than Starbucks Love the location bought a sandwich got charged for every single item 1 drink & small breakfast sandwich for almost $20 a bit much
