The owner was amazing, personally gave me a demo of a French Press. Outstanding coffee! Outstanding service! The best choice for coffee in Galena, Illinois!

Wish I had discovered this place sooner. Love the atmosphere and seating. Both booths and lounging type area. I love just a good plain cup of coffee and that is exactly what I got and loved it. Good flavor and not burnt like some places. They have a large variety to choose from for those who like the frills. The service was fast and friendly. Stopped in twice within 24 hours. Will be back.

A comfortable seat and tasty coffee and wonderful chocolate croissant. Friendly service, I managed to dump a full cup upon sitting down, they graciously mopped it and brought a fresh cup. Definitely need to try the cinnamon role next time.

I set out on my weekly weekend long ride and was looking for a nice coffee shop midway through my ride. With being from Chicago, it was my first time in Galena and was not aware of any coffee shops locally. I happened to ride by Kaladi's and decided to stop in. Firstly, the atmosphere inside was great and the employees happily welcomed me when I entered. I proceeded to order a coffee along with a water and a banana muffin. After ordering, I noticed that it was cash only and I only had my card (Totally my fault for not reading the sign before placing my order). Conveniently they have an ATM at their location for guests that do not have cash. Unfortunately, I was unable to take out any money as there was a problem with my credit card. I went back to the register and said I am unable to take out cash and would not be able to pay for the coffee, water, and muffin. Graciously one of the employees told me to take the coffee along with the other items as they were already prepared. I was shocked and couldn't believe their accommodation along with customer service. I have never experienced anything like this before and goes to show how much Kaladi's cares about their customers. I can not recommend this place enough, and I will definitely be coming back whenever I am back in town!

Rude workers! My friend and I are college aged girls and were visiting Galena. We had drove a long way and we needed to use the restroom and all public restrooms were closed. We had been to Kaladis before and knew they had an open bathroom, so ran in quick to use it. As we were walking out a man working called us out in front of everyone for using their bathroom. It was very embarrassing and unnecessary. We won’t be returning!
- By the way, we weren’t disrespectful or “sharp” in any way while in your shop. We came in and out quickly and actually were both smiling at the workers on the way out. Thank you for trying to paint us in a negative light though to benefit yourselves. ;) We are also “confused and disappointed” at your behavior toward this.

My girlfriends and i stopped here this morning before we hit the town and i have to say this was the cutest coffee shop I have ever been in. My only wish is that I would have had time to stop by and get just one more coffee before I had to leave town. Andrew was really amazing and made my day

Outstanding latte’s. I highly recommend this to any true coffee lover. We had a vanilla latte and a blended pumpkin spice latte.

I love this sweet coffee house! A Latino family owned business, they are so friendly & welcoming. It’s so convenient in downtown Galena. I always stop in first get my Carmel Cappuccino and enjoy walking along the main street to shop!

Excellent place, environment, and service. The drinks are very good and the bakery items are fresh. It's a mandatory stop everytime we're in Galena. Definitely worth your business.

I’m not from Galena, so when I went into the coffee shop, I was unaware that it was cash only. I was on my way to get cash from an ATM in the store so I could buy my water when the woman at the counter told me to just take the water and come back and pay later. I was so impressed with the kindness and hospitality so I paid for the water later plus some and decided to leave a review, which I rarely do. Aside from the service, the atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. I would definitely recommend stopping by Kaladi’s Coffee Bar!
