Higher Grounds Coffee

Love their coffee! I am from the Southwest and used to frequent Dutch Bros coffee daily with my own creation for my coffee... Higher Grounds allowed me to explain the drink creation to them and they have come extremely close to recreating it. Thank you HGC!

This was a little of a throw back in time for me. It is hard now to find a simple sit down no frills coffee shop. Oh don't get me wrong the place was beautiful the staff welcoming and made a good cup of simple coffee. The were patient with me as looked over the menu and asked my question. They gave me few extra minutes to pack up and didn't try to rush me out the door at closing. And the dark roast wasn't overly bitter forgot to add sugar and didn't even notice.

Disappointed in prices especially soup at $4.50 each. Sandwiches were goid but a bit pricey. Will return to try the coffee and sconces they looked great!

This is THE BEST spot in Freeport!! Great coffee drinks of ALL kinds, hands down BEST chai EVER, great food and service, too!! You won't be disappointed!! Please support local businesses. Please shop small, quaint places. Higher Grounds is worth it!! Prices are great too!! Our whole family loves their foid and drink!! Quiet study room in back for college kids, too!! Such a comfy spot to cover all your needs!!! 100% THE BEST!!!

Prompt and friendly service. Coffee is great and the breakfast is delicious. It's centrally located between 2 chain coffee shops and this blows them away in both quality and service.

Recently moved to the area and have been wanting to try his place esp since their menu seemed amazing online. Finally got to go this morning and we were not disappointed!! I think I'll be visiting often now!

Best coffee shop in Freeport. And you must stop in and see their excellent art gallery. The paintings are for sale. Better choice than buying your art at Walmart.

This place is a must-go any time I'm in the area. They offer a wide selection of fun coffee flavors to mix and match. The food is pretty spot on as well, definitely love the paninis.

Love this place. The owners are amazing. There’s even a massage clinic right there on the premises. She gave my wife a wonderful massage. She came home almost completely pain free.
